Thank you to everyone for their tips and ideas. I think I'll go the route of applying for the p.r.n. positions this time.
This statement from the registrar ad is what kind of throws me off: "Must have at least 1 year of customer service experience, preferably in a healthcare setting." However, I will try to tailor/reword my resume to promote my retail customer service experience.
I also get hung up on the salary requirement section--is the amount I enter too high or too low. I'll look at Glassdoor and see if there is any recent salary info for registrars at the hospital I'm interested in.
This will be my third attempt, so maybe three will be the charm. Again, thanks for the tips.
