passed the entrance test for that with flyhing colors....but the recruiters actually thought I was joking, laughed, and steered me towards "medical aide" or something like that. Who knows what my life would be like today if only I stood up to them. But I actually thought and believed women weren't "allowed" to choose air traffic controller and I accepted it.
