Maybe not so sad if this is what she really wants. Maybe she has just had enough. 50K is a decent salary, but money is not everything, and if a job is affecting your health and/or family life in a very negative way, you would have to consider other options. That being said, I pray the very best for her and her family.

corrections, double-check, and approve everything ourselves, I think a monkey could "process" our Teamwork... They have a company who actually processes our payroll, not the scheduler.

just schedulers from what I can tell, so they approve PTO requests & approve our time cards. They've also managed to mess our schedules up horribly. I'm curious how much they make and why the one would resign such a cushy job, or are they laying some off? Guess time will tell. Those newly created positions never seem to last long.

Can you imagine answering the e-mails for 400 MTs and all the lame excuses for missing shifts/tardies she has to deal with? I wouldn't want that job for ALL the money in the world. I know very few MTs realize it, but the TSM takes the heat from the powers that be when 3 or 4 days in a row, work has been late and you have 20 people calling in late or just calling in sick period.

I've been at Healthscribe/Spheris/MedQuist/MModal for over 10 years and the majority of those have been with KM. It's because of her being my supervisor that I haven't jumped ship LOOOOOOOONNNGGGGG ago. I just want to make sure everyone knows that KM hung in there as long as possible but it was the proverbial straw that broke the camel's back. You all know that she's been doing not just her job, which with the onset of the POD had her overseeing 200 agents, but with the TSA's abrupt departure (also a position that was doomed to fail from the inception), she's been doing that job as well. So with all this heaped upon her KM has been buried in email and who knows what else, she is graced with a corrective action from her superior for not responding to an email in a timely fashion. You have got to be kidding me. When someone who's been with a company for over 14 years and has a spotless record is given a corrective action for something that is a direct result of trying to help the company out of a bind, it's now time to fold it in. I've never heard such utter BS in my life. And that isn't what even sent KM over the edge, although very near to it. I guess I just wanted to get it out there for those of you who know and love KM like I do that she hung in as long as possible, and likely longer than was advisable. Now that my rant is over I'll get back to posting resumes...LOL!!!

I have often wondered how many of us are still around from Healthscribe, the only company in that list that truly knew how to treat their employees. Miss those days!

She was my former TL with Spheris then Medquist before we all ended up in this H ----hole we are in now.. She was a GREAT TL, and if things got bad enough for HER to leave, then They are WORSE than they appear....I am biding my time here .... Plan on quitting the end of the year, unless they fire me first.

KM was the best. I had her when I started 8 years ago with Spheris until I was transferred out because of all our clients getting sent to India. I had three after her and no one compared! She deserves better, just like the rest of us! I miss what I did, but don't miss all the added BS with this company!

I was just transferred to KM's team. It is sad that she is leaving, but in a way I cannot blame her. She certainly deserves better and I hope that she find a place where she will be appreciated.

I need time to read over again because I find so many flaws with their logic I cannot believe HR put out a new policy with such a double standard. We are to be responsive or we can get fired but the supervisors can ignore phone calls and emails for weeks on end and that is okay? Received email stating that they were going over all accounts and seeing which ones ran out of work and which ones had too much work and were going to be asking MLS possibly to rearrange their schedule so that they would have work and not run out and that all accounts would be covered equally???? Long winded email. Telling us to make sure we kept to our schedule and didn't work when we weren't supposed to and no flexing unless we had their approval ...

I have been at home working full time for about a year. I have been an MT longer, but I always had kept a job outside of the home also because I like interaction with other. I turned in my 2-week notice and working the last week of the notice. When can I expect to get my last check as I am waiting on labels from the company to send back computer and cannot get CCM to answer as to if check will be held until computer is returned? Is there anybody with this experience that can tell me how long to expect to wait for the check and to wait for the labels as I have nowhere else to turn for the answers? Really need my check, but cannot get anyone to send ...

I'm no genuis, but I think I have to make some changes here. My PT check for 20 hours was around 100 less than my FT 40 hour check. I like my FT job, good accounts, great supervisors, but the lines just don't accumulate there like anywhere else I have ever worked.
