To Oracle/OTI MTs, do you think there is any chance we will be paid on Friday? sm - Relatively new OTIer

I have only been there for about 6 weeks, but the payroll lady seems to get the checks out lightning fast. However, I realize the 15th is happening in the middle of the week, so payday might not be until Monday. I was just hoping ... thinking maybe some of you "veterans" had seen it paid that quickly, before the weekend. Regardless, I love it there. :-)

She will get the checks in the mail by Friday and the direct deposits to the banks, but the actual pay probably won't get to you until Monday. She's VERY good about getting them out ASAP.

I live in the next city over from the OTI office. My paper checks ALWAYS got to me 2 days after end of pay period (the day after payroll processing). My direct deposit hits 3 biz days later (2 days after processing). Gotta love it - hats off to Kathy in payroll!!!

Today is Wednesday and they can't even run the numbers until after midnight tonight.

If you have direct deposit, it will more than likely arrive at your bank Monday.

If you get a paper check, depending on how close you are to their office, you *might* get by on Saturday, but otherwise plan for Monday (or later if your mail is slow).

Their payroll is fast, but it's not THAT fast! lol

If I were still getting paper checks, I'd bet on having it in my mailbox tomorrow (Friday). The email said DDs should hit accounts Monday, but I wouldn't be surprised of my credit union had it processed and in my account by tomorrow after 6 p.m.

I'm hoping for Saturday, but I'm impressed they do payroll so fast. sm - Relatively new OTIer

Although the pay could be higher, at least I get it quickly. It is more reliable than some other jobs, I have had, that's for sure.

Mine is already at my credit union and shows as pending - LONG-time OTIer

I haven't gone through the training yet and am wondering how often we are paid. When does the next pay period end and when is the next pay date? Very excited to find a company that is flexible with scheduling.

As an MT, there's no chance of getting a raise or promotion, and so there's little incentive or motivation, especially being paid pennies per line. Yet, they expect you to participate in continuing education, which takes additional time and perhaps even money. What a joke. Hi, I really do concur with "Raining Pennies" that it is very important to read the posting guideines. Otherwise, if you inadvertently breach the guidelines, you will wind up getting banned. Has anyone elsed noticed that ASR sometimes "takes a break" on Fridays??? I was doing pretty good with my line count for the week, hoping to make a decent bonus tier for this last week before the new pay plan rolls out. Then, BOOM... nearly all reports are straight transcription this morning. Long op notes that I usually edit this time each day (and can get a very good LPH) I now have to type out. I have tried on 3 different computers and could not open on any of them (different operating systems and versions). the last one said a threat was detected; however, when I check the sender it does come from Nuance.
