Amphion - information about the company? - curley1969

Does anyone work for Amphion or have information about the company? How to they pay, are there benefits, do they supply the equipment or do you? Any info would be greatly appreciated!! I currently am employed through a great facility but there is a lot of talk of outsourcing to Amphion soon and supposedly we would all be offered the opportunity to apply with them.

If this sounds like your idea of a good job, then by all means, go with Amphion.

It's not an "opportunity" at ALL to apply with them. I speak from bitter experience. There will be NO WORK when you start your shift, on a regular basis, NO MATTER WHEN YOU START YOUR SHIFT.

Then when you ask for work, you will get horrible, multiple accounts, with horrible dictators/speech recognition, and you have to fill in "pend notes" correctly - which you are NOT compensated for. **Don't get me started on demographics**

All in all, it was the WORST experience I've ever had with a company and the reason I left MT for good.

I'm still with Amphion and did not have that experience. I had periods of NJA but asked for another account and now I rarely have NJA, just around holiday lulls. I just use PTO. I use the Triton platform which isn't always user friendly but it's doable. How long were you with Amphion? Just my opinion, this MTSO is still better than my old one, ATSI...They were the worst!!! But this being only my 2nd one I've worked for I guess I don't have alot to compare it to. I guess any place has good or bad reviews. I may agree with you too, depends on the day I guess.

I guess if they pay hadn't been abysmal, that would have made a difference...but it was.

Why so many dislikes? Must be alot of ex-Amphioners - hmmm

Is it because they are "owned" or whatever you want to call it by Nuance. Just wondering.

Now I have finally seen everything. The MTSOs are dropping our pay so fast, they cannot even take the time to proof their job postings. Is this a typo, a Freudian slip, a harbinger of our future, or just an example of how unorganized MTSOs have become? Anyone ever get fired from Amphion for not meeting line requirements? I work for them FT or more as needed and have yet to make the 12,000 line requirement. I've been with them for 6 months now and have not heard a peep about it. My QA is meeting requirements and my attendance is excellent, but I have yet to make the line count.
