My state's WorkSource and public libraries offer free 1-day classes on topics such as building a resume, interviewing, and selling your skills. If it has been a while since anyone has gone through the process of getting a job, I highly recommend courses like these. They were eye-openers for me. In-person classes also have the advantage of getting personalized help for our unique skills. I am just now starting to apply to non-MT jobs and while I do not expect an immediate offer, I do feel better prepared. Good luck everyone!
