I suspect I also encountered *some* ageism--not saying every time--along with my prior experience and BA being further back in my work/education history.
I was offered a position five months after being outsourced (accepted but didn't stay long) and started my current position just over one month after leaving the first job, or eight months after being outsourced.
I can't say I've found a new career path or even that I like the job, but I can pay the bills and keep looking.
