Is anyone out there having trouble maintaining 99% quality as I am?

Our TSM told us they will be working with HR to assure that we maintain CONSISTENT scores. Can't wait to see how that works for us. I have one report this week at 98 and I bet you dollars to donuts they don't check another one all week and leave me hanging there.

be more audits until (usually) it's under 99%, then (coincidentally?) the audits stop. If I get one that is under 99% at the beginning of the week, hmm, surprise surprise--I won't get any more, sometimes not even the next week. There is NOTHING stopping them from NOT making this random, at least not for everyone. I am sure they leave a few random so there will always be SOMEONE who says, "oh no it's random, I got 100%" Sickening

the next week, if you have under 99% you will be signed up for the Care quality class. Last week I was at 100%, so far this week I am at 98.53% as I had 2 minor errors, one of which was not catching to vs too. Oh the horror!

audits in time, you are stuck with whatever they did manage to get to. You can't set a pay plan up based on scoring if they don't have the plan or manpower in place to complete the most critical part of the plan. I'm convinced they didn't think any of this out before rolling out the excitement.

If anyone gets a call because they are under 99% based on only 1 or 2 reports out of the dozens/hundreds (depends on you), reports that you type, just simply reply with "once you start checking all of my work and giving me feedback, you can talk to me, or write me up, but you cannot base my quality on 1 or 2 reports, nor can you say my quality is not up to par because you checked a 10 line report and found a missing comma - it is not an accurate portrayal of my abilities as a transcriptionist -- talk to my lawyer.

basically dependent on if they get around to audits and consistent fair audits. You can't have a grid theory but not have the tools in place to execute it. That should have been worked out way before they instituted this pay scale robbery.

Post Audit M - What are these?

Did anyone get an e-mail about the new post audit status M? This is a post audit outside of the automation in Fiesa, special audit requests.

I cannot seem to get an answer from my supervisor who requests these audits and why. Since they count for our post audit score, I really want to know where these requests come from.

I ran an error report for all reports, all accounts on my platform for this quarter, 10/1 - 10/18. So far the Quality Index is 84% vs Quality Score 99.18%. Didn't they advertise this new error scoring as working out in our favor? Doesn't look like it to me. This is based on 2194 jobs and 105,358 lines audited on E5. how very funny ... have 5 jobs audited. the only ones with 100% are QC1 scores that DO NOT count toward the pay grid. a constant struggle for them to find a way to rip us off from the "great pay program". ...

I am a medical transcriptionist with over 15 years of experience, and I was fired today for low audit scores. I don't know why I am happy about this. I guess I am just relieved to get away from a company that picks apart their employees. What are they going to do when there is no one left? Just a head's up, new QA scores are being performed (to many of my friends also), with no warning, check your files and you will see a new one just performed. I have not had a score under 99.5% for 2 years, and had several 100%, but lo and behold, my new score (which will mean NO BONUS for the next QUARTER if I understand correctly) is 98.8%. Yea, right. Hello All, I just received the results of my pre-employment testing. I have not had to "score" on a test in quite some time. One company asked me if I had been contacted because I scored 50% on the transcription side. What does that mean? The other company stated that I did not pass their test. Hi! I was hoping for a little input. I have been with Mmodal/Medquist/Spheris since 2005. They have the new quality standards which seem to be out of reach for me. They want us to be at an unreasonable 99.7. Even today, received last week's audit scores and one was 100% the other at 98.75. Last week, I had a great QA score. I only had a couple of reports sent to QC - none of which were problematic. However, today, I had a horrible ESL report with multiple blanks. The only thing that matters is the number of these you turn in in the first place. Take what useful correction from those, if there is any at all, and let the rest of it roll off. Do not stress out over these or attempt to reverse a QC score. As a matter of policy, they will never reverse anything on these, because the percentage score on them is meaningless. slowly sinking here because my quality has always been 98-100 quality, years and years. Now, however, I am expected to maintain 99% quality, on a hideously difficult account, but I must also maintain my LPH. In other words, I have to listen to reports on the fastest speed I can to get my LPH yet maintain some form of quality.
