The scores on QC reports do not mean a thing. You can ignore the score, - ignore it altogether.

The only thing that matters is the number of these you turn in in the first place. Take what useful correction from those, if there is any at all, and let the rest of it roll off. Do not stress out over these or attempt to reverse a QC score. As a matter of policy, they will never reverse anything on these, because the percentage score on them is meaningless.

Only thing that matters is the number of them you turn in to begin with. Cutting down the number you submit is the only way to escape the daily onslaught of nastygrams and the only way to avoid falling off the grid, but again, it is only the number of these that matter, not the scores on them.

QA post audit scores are the only scores that matter. These are the only ones that should make your heart sink because these are the ones that tank your quality scores and impoverish you.

Don't even waste mental energy on QC scores, and definitely do not waste your time trying to get them reversed.

thing that will impoverish us. But if that were only the case. What about the constant switching of accounts and the growing periods of scarce to now work? Getting 100% on QA means NOTHING if you have to send more to QC because of a new account with 27 pages of client info or if there is NO work to begin with.

Hate to be a Debbie Downer here, I'm normally the most positive person you can imagine....but it's just the way it is. On my way out......sadly....I love transcription, even love editing.

I agree, was just trying to clarify the difference between QC and QA scores - so folks would not stress out over QC scores.

They are meaningless, much like the entire FIESA system itself, except of course, to run people off as fast as
scruance hires them. There is enough to stress about working here but QC scores ain't one of them.

Last week, I had a great QA score. I only had a couple of reports sent to QC - none of which were problematic. However, today, I had a horrible ESL report with multiple blanks. I had to send it to QC. They not only filled in the blanks, but graded me on it -- a whopping 96.2. UGH! Is that going to be counted among my post audit score for my pay rate?? ...

I am a medical transcriptionist with over 15 years of experience, and I was fired today for low audit scores. I don't know why I am happy about this. I guess I am just relieved to get away from a company that picks apart their employees. What are they going to do when there is no one left? Just a head's up, new QA scores are being performed (to many of my friends also), with no warning, check your files and you will see a new one just performed. I have not had a score under 99.5% for 2 years, and had several 100%, but lo and behold, my new score (which will mean NO BONUS for the next QUARTER if I understand correctly) is 98.8%. Yea, right.
