Before we got the notification about new changes, when I went to Fiesa, I had a lot of 100% reports, and very rarely got an email from Fiesa. Now I am getting one every few days. The person that used to edit my work no longer is, and a different person with an Indian-sounding name is editing my work. What happened to no more nitpicking. This person seems to find all kinds of nitpicking, nothing to do with patient care I looked nipticking up in the urban dictationary and this is the definition. Verb- Looking for small or unimportant errors or faults, esp. in order to criticize unnecessarily. Quess I know what the new changes are going to be. They will probably drop our base pay and go by the new tier system where you won't be able to bring your pay up because of mistakes they find. I sure wish we could go back and listen to our "corrected" work. I was hoping that the new changes would be something good, but I have a feeling that I am about to take a cut in my pay. Anyone else getting more Fiesa emails that before?

You are supposed to be able to listen to your work. Granted, I worked there more than a couple of years ago now, but I could listen. I don't remember how and it probably wouldn't even apply now because there have inevitably been changes. If I could remember and it applied, I would tell you how.

Just to let you know, the audio is much crisper for the QA people. They will tell you it isn't, but it is. I don't mean QC, those who work on this side of the ocean. QC hears the same audio as you do. The QA, however, have a much crisper sound. Add to that the fact that they are on a power trip, and they will find those little mistakes and take points off.

I only remember 1 QA person from the US editing my work when I was a QC and it was the only "good job" I ever received. I am not sure why the Indian QA are the way they are, but it's possible (this IS Nuance) that they get paid more for the more mistakes they find and correct. It's possible.

Its not the changes its the new QA. It will continue so I would try to get a different account if I were you. I never got 99 percent on one account because of picky QA, and my other account I am always 99.5 or above.

coming very frequently now, also from an Indian QA. Get them every couple of days. I basically send them for a relisten and then just ignore it as best I can and go on with my work.

I agree that our pay is going to be dropped big time and then we will have to 'earn' our way up to more pay which will be impossible with Fiesa.

all non medical! i actually got an error on the last word i put (kept from VR that is) right before the blank - obviously if there is a blank that means i did not understand the phrase at or around the blank!! ARRRRGH somebody shoot me for sticking around to be dealt this crap...

You can contest that if it was right before a blank. It's actually in the QA SOP to use fair judgement with words surrounding a blank. I have requested reversals and downgrades on things like that before and it worked in my favor.

Honestly, this dictation I'm doing is like the turn signal syndrome. What I mean by that is people who don't bother to use their turn signals when they turn (I know, I'm anal. I even use mine in parking lots). There's a reason they're on the car and it's against the law not to use them when indicated. Lockdown for us started last week and sometimes I can punch in earlier than 15 minutes and jobs keep downloading after my shift and other days I get the error message to contact my CCM.
