My days are numbered, I already know. I've given this job the best I could do. After 14 years of no complaints they have broken me with their petty BS, condescending ways, (Feel free to reach out....), then when you do if you're not on the prime list you get no answer or worse false info. Requested part time from the beginning but 35 hours is not P/T to me. Lot of flexing because shift is 11 a.m. - 6 p.m. (I was not made aware I have to ASK if it was ok to flex each and every time until now.) Most business I have to conduct can only be done from 10 a.m. -5 p.m. so have to leave my job to do it then flex. How do you flex when work is low? I've already been OOW twice so far today and trying to cover hours lost from yesterday. IDK, sometime I feel like the company guinea pig. I think their goal is to see how far they can push us before we crack. Well, they can stop pushing me right about now. Then of course we have the "You need to speed up" speech today. Tomorrow I get, "You need to slow down and proofread." speech. Which is it? Today you can't have it both ways. Yes, I understand they want all they can get for the pennies per line they pay but I have to have piece of mind too. As a seasoned MT I was confident in my ability to do this job at one time. Not so much anymore. I think that's their goal. May be wrong but I can't help how I feel. This has turned into no more than a shell game at the carnival for me and many others. No win for most. And yes, before someone jumps up with the "If you don't like it why don't you quit?" Here's your answer to that, because SOME kind of money coming in is better than NONE. I AM looking for another job, but never MT again. This company is like PacMan, gobbling up as much of the workforce as they can and spitting us out like watermelon seeds. Congratulations Nuance, you have done it yet again.
