get hold of a moderator to get a company to pay me. Does anyone know who I can go to? Thank you!!!

It's not any kind of government department with any power to make a company pay you. The moderator has no authority over any MT company. How do you expect her to get a company to pay you? Do you think she employs "enforcers" or bounty hunters?

If you are truly due pay, take a deep breath and follow due process. There are certain steps you can take to help your case, but I would agree posting the company name and/or owner is up to the moderator. So start there.

At the top of the list of topics once you get into Company Board, there is a nonpayment category called Nonpayment List or something like that. Try contacting the moderator through that method. I think they try to help resolve disputes. Check it out above. Good luck.

I have posted this before and gotten bashed by other MTs, saying my approach was wrong, I was "lucky I didn't get sued" ect., but this is what I did when someone didn't pay me in the past. I drafted up letters to every single client I had transcribed for, asking each one of them if there was an issue with them paying my MTSO, because there was currently an issue with that MTSO paying me. I explained that I wanted to be sure that she had received her funds that she should have used to pay me, before I took further legal action against her. I then sent the MTSO an email with those letters attached and told her that she had 7 days to pay me or those letters would be sent to HER clients and I would proceed with legal action. She ended up paying me and I didn't have to send the letters to them, but I definitely would have. I think if you have a person who is receiving money from their clients, but refuse to pay the MT, then their clients should be made aware of this and made aware of the possible litigation that could follow so that they can decide if they want to be involved with an unethical person such as that.

you just could have ended up in a world of hurt using the tactics you used. Glad you didn't. A lack of integrity on the part of your employer doesn't make dirty pool a prettier game.

Honestly, this dictation I'm doing is like the turn signal syndrome. What I mean by that is people who don't bother to use their turn signals when they turn (I know, I'm anal. I even use mine in parking lots). There's a reason they're on the car and it's against the law not to use them when indicated. No replies to Oncall for 6 -7 cpl. Look down a few ads and see the pathetic one put on by Lee Perfect. She cannot get anyone to type and says "sad but true." Lockdown for us started last week and sometimes I can punch in earlier than 15 minutes and jobs keep downloading after my shift and other days I get the error message to contact my CCM. I guess I am just spoiled that I used to work for a great company, and, of course, it was gobbled up because of their software and the transcription "had" to go with it. After about 3 years, they finally did away with the small transcription part. Each year we received a 500 dollar bonus for longevity. Hi, I recently spoke to someone from Turn Around Time Transcription. I had found their ad on mtjobs.com. Does anyone have any knowledge of this company? They use the Medrite XL platform and the owner told me all the transcriptionists said it was an easy platform to work on, but then I looked it up and MTs were complaining about the line counts being so low.
