That is just horrible! I have done a lot of junky reports in my lifetime and the only way to learn is to suffer through it. It is not right that this person is just shipping them off to QA and not doing the work!

That is just not right. This person should not have a job here, and especially as an MME if she/he cannot even do the difficult ones.

MMEs can hit I forget which key, I think F6, and can find out who had the report last. MTs do not have this function enabled.

Like the first couple of sentences will be done and it is obvious it is a bad dictator and they stop and drop the job..Anytime say the power goes off or for whatever reason I lose a job. I tell the CCM with a job number just in case, I mean it happens..would rather cover myself then not..The CCM, of course, never responds and she also never responds when I turn in a suspected cherry picker..She doesnt do her job and its getting kind of old.

I've been told MME can do that. They can also SM - Beyond Burned Out.

assign themselves certain report types. They don't all do this, but they are able to do this. The problem is no one wants to be MME, so they have to have some perks given to them or they would make no money. Again, they don't all to this.

This is reason why CCM doesn't address the issue and will deny it if you bring it up. Sadly, that's the way things are.

I'm an MME and I can definitely say we cannot assign ourselves anything. The only people with that sort of access are the CCMs and QCs. MMEs have no more perks than an MT/ME. An ME/MT has access to everything that an MME does, nothing less. Really the only difference is we get a QA worktype.

I might buy the power off story if it ever happened - on a GOOD dictator.

The ones I get are always horrible dictators. Plus when your power shuts off unexpectedly, the job is reserved for you for a while???? My grandkids used to step on the button on my power strip and turn my off regularly.

The worse thing they could have done was put the doc dictating on the next job in your que. There is one particularly difficult dictator that I am doing a lot. His reports are long and I seem to get 8-10 a night, more than before. I don't mind him, but I have never passed reports. I reported a suspected problem, but my CCM said I was the only one who had that job, but it was dictated 1-1/2 hours before I did about 12 others that had later dates, so a lot of them were passing it. This used to happen to me a few months ago, but the MT had 2-3 paragraphs typed with lots of blanks and I reported that, no answer. I guess the MT got smart and erased the dictation. I am sick of it!!!

they should at least either check it out and tell you one way or the other..Or if your NOT going to do your job lie and make it look like you give a crap..No wonder everyone is miserable..Im so sick of only hearing from my CCM when they need something. I work at Transcend and got on this evening to work and had 3 reports staring at me first in my q that were from a hard dictator and were STATs that had been OUT OF TAT since 10-11 AM this morning. I have a question. On my account I type a few notes a week, rest is all VR. So, when I see typed notes in my que, I may not take lunch or something so I can hurry up and get that note. One of the absolute WORST dictators from my accounts had a gazillion jobs in the queue this morning, all about the same time stamp (must have been downloaded all at once). I started slogging through them, and after a couple hour,s noticed that his backlog was moving a lot faster. Just curious about this because it seemed when I worked my last shift, I had all good doctors for a change. Some of them I'd never typed before. So I got to wondering if people can actually cherry pick on eScription. I was under the impression that was one of the benefits of that software, difficult to do that. Just wondering if anyone has had a problem with rarely ever getting to work on your primary account because you can really rack up some lines on it, only to be given crappy thick accented dictators? The reason I ask, is if work has been slow, then why are the dictations I have been getting in the evening shifts been dictated at 9 and 10 in the a.m.? Shouldn't those have been done during the day shift? I don't know how much more I can take of this place!!! ...

On 1 account that I work on, there are a couple of dictators who are the worst of the worst. They actually should be reported to their superiors. Many times each day, these reports are downloaded by MTs who simply return them and rather have no work than try to decipher what these idiots spew out. Cherry picking is wrong no matter how you look at it. That being said, I believe very strongly that being paid by productivity fosters that very thing! People who are desparate to make a living sometimes resort to doing things that they would not normally do. I have been targeted like crazy on audits, getting them every couple of days, and albeit there are some things I did wrong (had/has), I am getting marked for stuff like leaving a blank, sending to QA, and then marked wrong for the blank on a critical error saying I should have been able to find this.
