Anyone else get this e-mail. WOW. Unbelievable. In part:

. . . there are 2 options for when we have NJA/WA

1. Make up time the same day NJA occurs. If you can't get in all time throughout the day to contact TSM to make up additional time when slots are available. DO NOT work outside your hours on any other day without permission from TSM.

2. PTO.

There is no excused absence to be used for time not able to get in. . . . If you are unable to get in makeup time due to conflicts you have personally then you will be non-compliant for the week in hours worked.

Which region do you all work in, that you seem to be getting all these emails about policy change? More importantly, who is sending them to you?

This is the 2nd one in an hour announcing changes in guidelines and I haven't personally received a single one of them yet.

I got an email from my TSM this morning advising us of our options. Here is an excerpt.

In your Remedy Ticket required information must be given:
Â· The time of your first No Jobs Allocated message and your time zone.
Â· Your State of Residence.
Â· Indicate the option you wish to exercise:
Â· Make Up Time
Â· Take PTO (PTO time must be currently accrued or you may use Excused Absence)

All policies are posted on the M*Modal Intranet under Departments>Human Resources> Policies.

My advice to you is to look up the policies and have a discussion with your TSM about the conflict.

I didnt get this one, but got the quality one - must be just our region?

I am in California but as I understood the law, if they REQUIRE you to return to work and they still cannot provide work, they are REQUIRED to pay you work availability again. Isn't that true? Also I have only seen any of this in emails. Why hasn't the policy officially been changed yet. Working on researching a complaint with the labor board. This is BS. ...

I'm so mixed up. What I read here about no jobs available and what we are being required to do is much different. Originally we were told to check for work every 30 minutes and could enter 30 min of work availability, but had to stay all shift. The following day after doing this we get an email that says that was wrong and we can only have 15 min work availability and the time cards would be corrected to take out that extra 15 min originally instructed to include.&n ...

If I am sitting at my computer waiting for jobs to come in every 5-13 minutes, I should be paid. I should not have to be penalized by an adverse effect on my line count if I were to stay clocked in as production. Waiting for jobs while clocked out is still being on the job if you are signed into Fluency. So, the way I figure, you are still working, but off the clock. Plus, as proof that you are working off the clock, your Fluency log in time will be greater than your clocked in time. ...

Not that I really WANT to hear from the Q, but am I the only one who does not have e-mail still? I can log into MQ Central fine, click the "my community" button, and the regular e-mail page does come up but with only four boxes at the top (no e-mail list). Doubt he will even read it but if he does, it was nice knowing all of you. I did not use any bad language, but I did speak my mind. Okay, it is 8 p.m. Friday night. Just checked e-mails. Noting my CCM sent one out at 4 p.m. Little concerned as to its content. She stated mandatory conference calls in the next 2 weeks with an "agenda," but will be brief. With what I am reading on this board, I am worried what this might be about.
