No e-mail all day from TT - Another MT

Hi everyone:) Has anyone received any e-mail today from Transtech. I haven't gotten 1 e-mail all day, which is unusual. Thanks!

Everyone on vacation being a holiday week, I guess. No work either. ?? Yet last week emails about nobody taking off as too many are have already asked...so..who does the work if all off..hummmmm

They don't usually send emails when people are struggling to get lines and grabbing every report as it is dictated.

By the way, I'm wondering...is it possible to get unemployment for the time we sit here waiting for work if we (me) can prove that 2 other MTs have plenty of work (assigned to favorites)? Would the Labor Relations Board be interested? I'm sick and tired of the "nature of the beast" excuse every since time they overhire and we have no work. They must really think we're stupid.

Can I join your club? I'm pretty much in the same boat, although I've worked 3 days and make a whopping $150. Whoohoo! It's a good thing I like PB&J sandwiches and mac and cheese!!

I'm waiting for the email that tells me I'm short lines and have to make them up before midnight Sunday. ROFL.

Why don't they tell the MTs who are running out of work that there is a new account coming on? Perhaps they could shift some MTs around so those of us who have been loyal to them could have more work. I would like to have this "new" account if it means working a full 8 hour day and having work to do. But instead I have no work and am sitting here with no communication to be put on other accounts to have more work. Really frustrating.

That is the way it works. Keep us in the dark. I don't know if the new account thing is true or not, but they tell the MT that when she panicks over no work. Do you ever actually get put onto a new account? I think they overhire with hopes of getting new accounts, knowing some hirees won't stay and they really don't care about the MT that has been there for years running out of work. All they care about is TAT. It is really a shame. MTs are interchangable. One leaves, 3 more get hired. They don't want us to get to know each other, when you leave, no one cares.

Everyone that has responded to my e-mail is right on the money with your opinions. I have 3 accounts, and only 1 of them usually has work. I run out of work all the time, especially when it comes close to the end of the pay period. I get reports that have very low line counts and I struggle to get a decent line count, and usually do not get it.

I hope you have plenty of work to keep you busy. I didn't know they had a new account. Do you know if the new account has been put on line yet?

Anyway, let me be one of the first to welcome you to the TT family. We complain and moan a lot when there is no work. That's the only thing wrong with TT is the over-hiring. If they kept all of us busy, I could honestly say that they are the best place I have found so far. I've never had a problem taking time off or not getting a timely response to emails. QA is the best if you can take that certain QA person who tends to go overboard sometimes (TT people know who I'm talking about). Just don't take it personally. I've talked to her many times on the phone, and she really is a nice person. She's just VERY thorough and some may call her nick-picky. I used cringe when I saw her email come through, but I've learned to let it just roll off my back. LOL

I'm keeping my fingers crossed for your success. I hope you're happy with your decision. Sorry if I scared you about TT.

I'm 99% sure there is no new account. I've asked a few people I trust to give me a straight answer. There's always "something in the pipeline," but there is no new account recently that has gone live. Again, I can't verify 100%, but I'm pretty confident that those I talk to are telling the truth.

Ha....love that "nature of the beast" line. Apparently they say that to everyone who has the nerve to complain they are not able to pay their bills. They are consistently out of work and then asking to "flex." When incentives are offered (rarely) you have to have the lines in before you get paid incentive. Having the lines is next to impossible when there is no work.

Is Transtech only located in one place? I am a former employee who has been a direct IC for a large medical group in the midwest and had a coworker tell me last night that they had a work assigned to TT that hadn't been touched yet (this was after 7 p.m.) so I would probably get it today. Sure enough, my boss called at 7 a.m. and I am working on a Friday which never happens for me. Thanks to whoever is not getting the work to you TT MTs - I might have a decent paycheck this week!

No emails = no work - Old and Tired MT

The only time I get emails is when they are close to TAT and everybody is supposed to "jump on" and get it caught up. When it gets very quiet, that means no work is available. I work 2nd shift and I have been low on work all this week so I can imagine the day shift has practically nothing.

We were sent an e-mail that pretty much said the workload was very slow, but this has been super slow! I am now out of work on my second shift, about 3 hours too soon. My next pay check will be next to nothing if this keeps u.

Not that I really WANT to hear from the Q, but am I the only one who does not have e-mail still? I can log into MQ Central fine, click the "my community" button, and the regular e-mail page does come up but with only four boxes at the top (no e-mail list). One of those boxes says something about currently experiencing problems with MT mail, we are contact with the vendor trying to resolve issues. That's it. Rest of the page is white. Doubt he will even read it but if he does, it was nice knowing all of you. I did not use any bad language, but I did speak my mind. I'm not even totally sure the big picture includes MTs/MEs so I guess we should all be looking to change occupations. Either way, sooner or later I will be hired outside of this industry. Okay, it is 8 p.m. Friday night. Just checked e-mails. Noting my CCM sent one out at 4 p.m. Little concerned as to its content. She stated mandatory conference calls in the next 2 weeks with an "agenda," but will be brief. With what I am reading on this board, I am worried what this might be about. I cannot access my web e-mail. I believe there was an upgrade happening this week (thought today). Now they want user name and password. from a supervisor with a typo or a word spelled incorrectly or misuse of a word. I want so much to send a reply stating "Failed audit!" And where does the doctor's responsibility come in? I can't believe how poor some of their grammar is and how they mix up genders throughout the report. It's unbelievable how much we have to correct to make them look good. Just received e-mail from corporate stating that as they had previously stated they would be rearranging management, ccm's, etc. It went on to state that if you had been reassigned to a new CCM they would be contacting you in the future, but Thank GOD at the bottom it lists who your CCM will be and I am lucky enough to have the same CCM who I love and has always been good to me.
