In the last 6 months, I have registered for the HGTV dream house, the Little Debbie car, a Camero my daughter's school is raffling, $1000 gift card from Wal-Mart, and a $5000 gift card from Home Depot -- anything I can sell for money. Never bought a Lottery ticket or registered for a free thing in my life. Always believed in working hard. This is what MQ has done for me.

and won a $1500 value 5-foot safe. Had to pay taxes on it, but we sold it for $$$. I don't register for the dream house. The property tax alone on it would probably cost me more than my current mortage. I simply couldn't afford my prize. I do register for the smaller things though because you just never know. The one thing I will NOT do is the MQ essay regarding FTR!!!!! No way I will sell myself out on that one!!!

So, decided to rip the band-aid off early and check on my paycheck in Ultipro. After deducting my pto pay and using actual hours, production pay, Now at just over $8/hr. There was a day I made average $15/hr, and I was one of the slow, meticulous ones. Really not sure why I put myself through this pain but it renews my resolve every 2 weeks to get out of here. I just started, but the date I got was today for payday, yet it is not in my bank. They told me I do not have to wait for direct deposit, that it is right off the bat (rather than waiting the usual two checks or so with any other place). I made minimum wage for the past 2 weeks. Tell me again why I work for this company? I can now look for a job doing any stupid thing, anywhere, and not have to take a pay cut. Isn't that terrific? I got an email from HR today that my husband was 'accidentally' added back on my insurance. Note that he has not been on my insurance for almost a year. How this happened I have no idea. MAJOR VENT. My paycheck from MQ was deposited into my account today and it just sent me into a panic. There was a question about MTs pay in India. It is generally dependent on the line count and quality. I just saw a post from last month wondering about what the accuracy level is that Indian MTs have to maintain. On Editscript, expected accuracy is 99% and tolerated accuracy is 98.5%.
