ALL-HANDS MEETING STATED:  Performance management will be done for greatness of work to raise the bar on every MT/ME.

ENOUGH IS ENOUGH!  This morning's email of trying to get us to be near 100% is bullcrap!  MM won.  I just hope and pray by moving this bar up that the company will fall.  After giving this company more than 2 decades of my service, I HOPE TO QUIT! 

I am pulling money out of the 401K and finishing my schooling.  This company is great to work AND go to school, but this is the last straw.  There is only so much a company can do until you just had enough of the beating! 

WHAT GETS ME IS WE ARE DOING EVERYTHING THIS COMPANY WANTS US TO DO, SO WHERE ARE THE RAISES!  Oh I forgot, MModal avoids money in our pockets.  They only care about their own pockets.

 

Bar too high? MM wont fail. They will just lower - the bar. nm

I liked the post below stating about Speed, Quality, or Price (your paycheck). PICK TWO OF THEM!

I am done with this crap! I used to think this company was great 10 years ago then it kept going downhill. Then what went from great (when you cared about your job) to thinking this company was appalling, shocking, revolting, repulsive, horrid, belittling, deplorable, AND NOW I HAVE NO WORDS because this company keeps treating their employees by demoralizing them (I could give a crap about this company or my job).

ALL THIS COMPANY WANTS FROM ME IS TO WORK FOR FREE FOR THEM. I already make 100% audits, but my pay is below minimum wage for the highest state in the Nation. Makes me sick!

Posts below state how they love their job and if we don't like it, we should leave. I wish WE ALL COULD LEAVE. TAKE A WEEK OFF FROM THIS CRAP AND SEE HOW THIS COMPANY WILL SURVIVE. I strongly believe the posters are not MTs, but corporate. Enough is enough. Out of here. I am worth way more than this company thinks I am. Done being beaten to death over the years. Wonder what is more up their sleeve, but it will never end. Just keeps getting worse for their MTs.

I loved the first sentence of the email. Mmoral wants to be known for high quality documentation. Which means that it is not, if that is his wish. Has he looked at the report lookup lately? Stating a goal number of 99.6 does not make it true, no matter how they cook the grading statistics or how many times they chant it at the board meetings.

But what is his plan? Are they offering bonuses or incentive for those who actually achieve this 99.6%? Will they actually performance manage those who do not? What happened to best dictation practices and training the doctors? Will they fix ASR? Are they actually going to make the CPs shorter and consistent? Will they get rid of charging the MTs to send to QA? No to all.

I have been audited exactly twice in the last 5 years and the only feedback our team receives is blanket emails from the QC. Maybe they will just continue to audit less and look the other way when lousy reports get sent through the system and feign anger when one gets caught by the client. That way they can claim their 99.6% quality domestic of course, because the ILP standards are much lower.

Been with company for 26 years. My group gets group audits and we see them once a month.

Fortunately I get 100% audits, but I hope to quit in the next 2 weeks. Company is sick thinking.

That is amazing? I wonder why. Either they must really like you much more than the others or you do perfect work or you work 3 a.m. But seems you will never be fired. Whatever the reason, no offense to you, but that is not fair.

Perhaps I should say, I have only received notice of audits twice in the last 5 years and that was when I requested to tier up and they had to do a mandatory audit. If our QC is doing audits or they are doing audits on our accounts I would never know. Mmodal is famous for never telling the MTs anything positive, just hammering home the negative. I am sure if I received a failing grade on an audit they had done in secret they would have let me know multiple times, over and over, but had I passed not a word would be said. Perhaps they are doing random audits and I either have passed or my reports just were not selected.

I agree it is not fair and I certainly take no offense, but what at this company is fair or standard? The pay certainly is not fair, the spread of workload certainly is not fair, the response time of some TSMs is not standard so why would auditing be any different?

Last week my prior TSM and QC were both let go. Now I have a new TSM who has taken over. Maybe the response time might be longer because there are fewer TSMs.

My QC and a former co-worker's QC were both let go last week (North Region). Mine was phenomenal and really on top of things. This is truly disappointing. :-(

Just don't care anymore. A person can take only so much and I am done with their crap. I need to be free of them. I knew all this was going to happen when CBay bought them. That was our chance to stop it. Why raise the bar to that ridiculous level then? To try to get us to quit?? Well they have won when it comes to me. Enough is enough of this crap.

I just cannot deal with this crap anymore. It is taking too much out of me and company does not get it or care. The only thing company cares is their pocket books and happy MTs stay here to help feed more money in corporate pockets and then BAMM! A rude awakening occurs to happy MTs. Just glad I saw it coming. I do not know if I can take too much more of this company either. This is the first time ever that I would not be too upset if I ended up being fired that way I could put even more time into school. I have been an MT for almost 30 years and now it is time to change careers.

This means 65% will see decrease and/or paid minimum wage. I read the link.  The electronic medical record STILL is not the problem (my account with Q right now has EHR and I TRANSCRIBE the reports).  The problem according to the article is that the Clinicians are inputting the data -- be it typing it in or point and click or speech rec --- but that information STILL has to be put into that record somehow.  They are choosing to do it themselves and not pay transcriptionists, but the Electronic Medical Record only means that it is totally ...

I am NOT going to read all those posts, but I just wanted to let you know that you are lucky you only get audited once a month.  I get audited DAILY, at least once a day.  Today I got audited twice, one 100% the other 99.75%.  If I can remember correctly, I got dinged for typing something like "Aorta was tortuous" instead of "The aorta was tortuous".  It was for an account that has a multitude of dictators - I swear there is a new one every day and no two on a consistent basi ...

who said it makes no difference to MM's bottom line if they put us on 100% QA because it usually is not permanent.  Even if it is just for a month or two and they are lowering our salaries by half or more, multiply that by the number of hours worked and by the number of MTs on 100% QA.  They can lower their costs by many thousands per month - at least enough to throw themselves a huge party. ...
