If from Accentus or Transcend, I don't know. Probably a bit of a hit in the pocketbooks for some of them, though they haven't been weighing in yet that I've seen. Maybe still scratching their heads trying to figure out what is just status quo for more seasoned employees.

We weren't invited to this...but I am currently on an account 80% straight typing and making 10 CPL, and VR at 6.5 CPL, so this will make a SIGNIFICANT change in my pay.

I used to make 11.5/8.5 before Nuance ruined my life 1-1/2 years ago. I used to be appreciated, respected... kissed that goodbye when these blood suckers took over.

And will you be transitioning off that platform to EditScript or other at some point? What I heard about Accentus's platform is what kept me from going with their offer. They did at least compensate for the productivity issues with their pay rates, but still wasn't enough to make me jump ship for them.

First, yes it is no spaces, 55 characters, which I did check with the counts in Word, calculating it both with spaces on 65 characters, and 55 characters without spaces, and the pay was very very close.

Regarding Apex, it is clunky but after about 6 months I was able to type just as fast as I had in the past, it took me close to a year though to get to that top rate...and the 10 for straight is based on average of 200 LPH and 6.5 was for 335 LPH, and for me those rates beat anything out there so it was worth it to deal with Apex. Now I have to decide whether I will stay or try for another company but fear I will eventually again be bought out by one of the 2 biggies. I am taking some classes and applying for other lines of work, crossing my fingers.

Has anyone actually received pay for manditory meetings we attended discussing the transition from DTS to Transcend? Our acct mgr even sent out an email saying that payment on the LAST meeting would be delayed until this pay period, but I find nothing on my check stub to suggest we've been paid for any of them yet. If you have, where is the information located on your check stub? All I have is straight pay and holiday pay. TIA ...

I am so tired of receiving the frantic emails about TAT, I am tired of being on MOT, I am tired of attempts being made to make the MTs feel like it is THEIR fault the POD has the highest number of unedited jobs in the system. Always the same old song and dance. The subject of MTs needing more pay per line comes up, and what does the speaker do? Redirect the focus on all the added "upgrades" to their software they plan to buy (probably for hundreds of thousands of dollars) to "help us be more productive". Got news for them. You can only go SO fast. There IS a limit. And after all the emphasis on accountability and accuracy, do they not see that speed just increases errors ...

Well, I see MQ is still touting the fact that we can produce more with ASR. Some things never change. Today our inhouse hourly waged MTs group figured out a way to keep our work in our clinic and not being outsourced. We are going to make our present wage AND get back some of the doctors that went to outside line count charge. We put our heads together and figured it out and our director (not an MT in any way, shape, or form) is all for our plans. Now that is what I call a first step to keeping our jobs in house! I get a message from the Princess to register for the meeting. I register and then a message comes back and states thank for registering, but no information on how to get into the meeting. Then I get another message from the Princess to register NOW for the All hands meeting and so I register with another message stating thanks for registering with no information on how to listen to the meeting.
