It is really terrible when you come to the board to make a comment someone always has to say something negative-sometimes we are only looking for support from fellow MTs. I do not understand why there is always so much backlash. If you do not have anything good to stay keep your comments to yourself. Life can be hard enough. When the table is turned hopefully there will be someone there to lend an ear and a kind word when it is needed.

I totally agree..It is like some are looking for something to argue about. On the other hand, there are some really nice people here too. I guess there will always be miserable people that try and make others miserable everywhere you go...oh well...

This is about as nice as it's ever been. I've been thinking for the past few months how few huge outright blow-out knock down cat fights there have been around here lately - and it's been really nice.

In the past years, it's been hateful nastiness and rude, uncaring and callous remarks after Every. Single. Post.

It's been really nice lately to see so much support and compassion for each other. I know it still seems like a lot of bickering and fighting and we all have a long way to go before this board is considered "peaceful" but it's leaps and bounds better than it has been in the past.

I agree, it has been pretty nasty in the past. I wonder if part of it is due to the changes taking place at MM that have caused some to quiet down or maybe they have moved on or been let go because this board has A LOT LESS nastiness lately. It's still here, just not as bad.

There are more nice people on this board - than there are mean people.

I mean are they really transcriptionists? The old divide and conquer theory seems to come to mind. I honestly do not know how anyone could be happy with a paycut and unrealistic expectations put on us by this company.

About these pay cuts. The only true pay cut came with VR and that was industry wide. And VR was not invented by MM, Nuance came out with that.

gotta wonder how many fake posts they put up to cause hate and discontent. If your happy, your lucky. A 10K paycut makes me very unhappy, but living where I do, I don't really have an alternative to go to. I will lose my house soon, I can't fight and handle the stress anymore. When I do, I will move closer to civilization and find another job.

With the current state of the company, I would think they have bigger fish to fry rather than hanging around some message board trying to see what MTs are talking about.

I had a huge drop in income too after being outsourced, but I downsized my town home for a decent 1 bedroom apt and thankfully found a better job and left MT. Finally, I am living comfortably again. I was proactive, took the nessecary steps and now I'm in a much better place.

I was never unhappy with MM, they just couldn't pay me what I needed to survive and I don't think any MTSO can for that matter. You said you lost 10k? Well I lost 20k, but you won't see one bitter bone in my body because of it,UST thankfulness that the good Lord above brought me out.

And besides, times are changing. Everything revolves around technology and y can't blame MM for that.

First of all, I praise God for every good thing that happens to me. Don't put words in my mouth I never said ANYTHING about what he does for others.

And with all due respectively don't choose to have this conversation with you, as it seems you are *insinuating* that I somehow think I'm better and that is NOT the case. God is no favorites and will do for everyone equally. So please don't go there trying to put words in my mouth.

MTSO companies. Being a long-time loyal employee/IC means nothing to most MTSO's. I've worked for the same company for around 4 years, through ups and downs, feasts and famines, and the minute it gets a little busy, they hurry up and hire more MTs.
