Searching for doctors in Fluency - sm

Is it me or is this more of a pain recently? Seems like the specialities are not listed and instead it just says medicine so it is really hard to find some doctors, and the search by just specialty just doesn't work anymore? I've had to go into the hospital websites several times today to find a doc by the specialty, cause God forbid they spell the off the wall names.

There is no way for these pennies that I am going to hospital websites to find the physicians. Their problem.

if this is something everyone is going through. And who is responsible for entering the physician information into the database? Cause I am going to question what is going on through QA or TSM.

Some client profiles say to leave QA marker if name not found in database. While it might be easy to just do that and say you checked, I do tend to try and search the best I can for the name of the doctor. Fluency used to have fuzzy searches; hated when they took that feature away.

THey only spell the names you know or easy names, never the big long Indian names.

Today I needed the name of the ER doctor supervising for a PA who seemed to be dictating through a toilet paper tube, and when I put "Emergency" in the specialty window, nothing came up. Fortunately, I found the name in a previous report.

Emergency and Anesthesia - those docs

On most clients' data base, ER and Anesthesia docs are not included. Must not have occurred to anyone that we might need those.

The fuzzy search saved my butt a lot of times, so they disabled it. They said they'd bring it back about March, so they didn't.

Wild card search - JustMe

You can still use % signs as a wild card for the database searches, and you can use as many as you want. For instance, if the name sounds like Magillacutty, you can type m%g%l%t% and it will bring up choices. You might already know this but if not I hope this is helpful.

Check with the BBB. They shouldn't just have NO activity, but be part of the ongoing audit, not just boast they have had NO activity. Heck, I have had no activity!!! It is only as good as what is submitted. You may have been in business 10+ years but screwed people over 5+ years of that time. If no one reports you, the activity continues.... Watch RIPOFF reports. I know these things have probably been covered before here, but could someone please give me some general advice on what it is to be an IC? Do you just send the IRS a quarterly payment and that's it? Honestly, why when you search a company do tons of posts from 2006 and previous come up and you have to go through pages and pages of old posts before you see the recent info?The posts should be date order, latest first, IMHO. Who cares what people wrote about a company in 2006 when so many things have changed? Is it just me..I am on their company desktop so curious...If I am in a report and go to the F5 to search the all mighty repository then it messes up my DocQmanage search page and I have to sign out of there and resign in from scratch, doesnt even save my initial information..And why cant we be in the docqmanage search area and the docqmanage area that has the QA feedback at the same time..Having to constantly sign in and out is causing more trouble then anything.. ...
