checking the QA box, it does not go through QA, right? I know we are not supposed to put in disparaging remarks, but would "speak up" or "stop mumbling" be considered a disparaging remark? I am so tired of these docs who mumble and cannot be understood...how else will they know we can't hear/understand them if we can't tell them...all they see is the nice finished product not what we have to go through to get them that.

If QA isnt checked it does not go through QA - Wouldnt put that though

I have put comments like 'unable to hear because of background noise or bag rattling (eating chips I guess) or yawning or poor audio, and that's about all I got last night, awful. doesn't do any good anyway. I've even broke or aborted because the sound was sooooo bad, I couldn't hear it.

I was bought my MQ this past fall, and I lost all of my work as a top tier, so I'm no longer there, but I was just curious. TY for the reply.

I was told the only reason you can abort a job is if it is not in your skill level, and only break a job in an emergency.

How lovely that this MT just sticks another MT with the garbage. Why not just type what you can and send it through with the blanks and a QA note saying "bad audio" and then notify CCM about that job.

They do monitor this, and I hope that MT gets written up for that.

When they abort usually it is kind of obvious - I rat them to the CCM

I dont normally like ratting people out but those that leave me the crap jobs because they cant do them, well no sympathy..Even if it was above my skill level, I would make my way through the mess and send it to QA, its the best way to learn. Thats how I made it to tier 3 with no formal MT training ever, and Im pretty good at my job I must say

I didn't know what the terms meant, but I figured at least one meant it went back into the cesspool. I'm one of the cesspool workers who will try my best to tackle this crapola, and it sucks that others choose to just reject it. It's just irresponsible and reprehensible to cherry pick. Get over yourself already, unless you've exceeded your QA limit. hmmm....

no, they come back to me after a few other reports and I finally just send to QA with comments that audio cannot be heard. When I checked them next day, they couldn't understand them either, so it's not cherry picking. They need to fix their static and roaring in their reports. No one else got those reports but me, so quit whining. We're all stuck with crap, whether we like it or not.

I have literally spent hours on reports wading my way through the crap..but if I dont do it then someone else has to..fair is fair, maybe if we all do what is assigned then we can spread the crap out and bring up all our line counts...

Okay, so in my experience in trying to be compliant on making up time and "switching" swapping time when I had a funeral to attend. No problem picking up the times, but here is what happens. I have worked for the Q was not audited before (that I know of). I don't see anyone talking about the test itself or working coders or coding students bringing it up, so I will. I went to school for coding, got certified and could not find a job. I'm going to test this out myself the next time I use one. If this is true, sure would explain my slightly plummeting line count from usual no matter how hard I try. That would be some BS for sure. I recently had 0.25 error in FIESA for having "complaining of lateral-sided pain" instead of "complaining of left lateral-sided pain." The comment that the reviewer made was "Downgraded as clear throughout the report." What does that mean exactly? I rarely ever see any comments at all from them.
