seems ever since India has taken over this has happened very frequently. It looks to me like this will be a long downtime. India is on the case though so we are in good hands lol

I talked to my boss who said the entire system was down and that even the techs can't get in. Not sure what happens next, but I'm going to play the trumpet, LOL

when the system crashed and was down for 3 days. This happened maybe 7 or 8 years ago, I can't remember for sure, but it was very bad.

Gave out incentives after it was up and running because of all the Turn Around Time out and thousands of reports backed up in the system. At that time, I received 4 hours each day for 3 days of downtime. Other MTs had 2 hours and some had 8 hours. I guess it depended what state you lived in at the time, but again, that was years ago.

The system went down before my shift was supposed to start - am I supposed to keep checking on the system statu

Also, if we are using India's tech folks, I'm in Oregon and they are 13 hours ahead of me (behind??) so they had to wake some folks up possibly to fix this.

Unfortunately, my downtime pay is a lot less than I can make transcribing but I guess something is better than nothing

When the system went down for 3 days they fired the head IT guy and a few other people. Now that most of the tech is in India what now? If they fire some of the techs for this mess which you know they will because they need someone to blame, who do they hire next? My 14 year old would probably work for cheap.

Good luck trying to get Vendors to fix this problem during a weekend. It is going to cause the company an arm and leg to fix problem if it runs into the weekend.

I am not the OP, but I am also in Oregon and am 20 miles north of Grants Pass. Love it here! I guess I'd be what they call a Platypus because I don't really care who wins (if I even know there is a game).

Okay people, if you were in the middle of your shift, or you could not sign on for your shift, make sure you filed a Q-care ticket and notified your CCM. Mine has been sending E-mails throughout the day stating that she KNOWS that DQS is still down even though it shows a green light. Just curious if MQ is going to try to ignore yesterday's DocQscribe crash. My CCM is on vacation so I just put an alert on my timecard. The RTL told me that it was not an alert and deleted my note. So downtime or not? I guess I will just be short this week because I am not making up hours or taking PTO when their stupid system crashes and MQ refuses to own up to it. Has anyone gotten an email from BR or PK regarding Fluency downtime on May 18 and how much we will be paid? I put downtime for the entire time, because I get paid by lines not by sitting at a blank computer screen waiting for work. I got a message saying that there was issues, but usually after a few minutes a job would come through. Did you check back in every 5 minutes. Again, I do not get paid for that.
