Fluency downtime - mhm

Posted: May 20, 2015

Has anyone gotten an email from BR or PK regarding Fluency downtime on May 18 and how much we will be paid? I am short 1.30 hours for that day and WILL NOT use PTO for their problem, nor will I make that time up. Global ticket number was 99999, and we were told not to submit a remedy ticket... I did make a note of this on my timesheet for this day stating I will not be using PTO for this and I am expecting 1.30 hours from M*Modal since this was their problem. I don't think it's very likely I will get that much, if any at all, but still not using my personal time to cover it.

I too have not heard from my HDSM MC or TA LC as to what time we are allotted on Teamwork for the downtime. I opted to do an errand instead of trying to get into the system every 5 minutes. I e-mailed them both twice, then put in a Remedy ticket cause I did not hear from them and when I got my confirmation, sent that to them after the tech stated I needed my supervisor to give me the exact time for downtime. MC never even acknowledged the e-mails and LC was nice enough to at least say they had not heard the exact time alotted. However, I ended up making up the time and was just going to use the downtime for extra pay, but I too am very upset I have not heard anything again. They expect us to do 3 months of mandatory overtime, and can't even pay us 1/2 hour of downtime??? Yeah, and if more people don't step up she will have to implement mandatory OT again this week. Implement all you want, you not getting anything out of me until I see downtime pay.

I have heard nothing but - sm

I did save the email that said it was down, admission of guilt so to speak. And I signed out into work availability for the times there was no work..but before I realized we were down, I also submitted a remedy ticket..and have that number as well.

Thanks SO MUCH for YOUR answer, it's very much appreciated. I was specifically told by BR NOT to do a remedy ticket. I wonder why?.... Anyways, thanks again so much! :)

BR told us not to do a remedy - ticket for NJA

and I believe the reason was that they were already aware of the issue. Then she gave us the master ticket #. I got technical downtime on my timesheet.

If you are with MC and LC you just need to - enter your hours under

conference call as that is what LC has in her instructions for timekeeping when there is down time. Reference ticket #1369562 and mark alert manager and she will approve and change to MModal down time. She did that for me already. I had about an hour of down time and she approved it as MModal downtime. If you are waiting for a group e-mail I do not know if they will send one. Have not been on this team long enough to know how they normally handle this type of thing.

So you got the okay for an hour. Wonder why it is not a set time? SM - TT

Before my transfer to new POD, my old HDSM would send out email with the master ticket number and the set time we could claim within our schedule.
I think there is no time given because everyone - probably had different amounts of time they were d

When it went down I was working on a job but could see that no job was coming in. I was able to finish the job on was on but no more would download. Since everyone should have been able to complete the job they were on but just not download anymore, we all would have been out of work at different times depending on how long the job was that we were working on when system went down. Hope this makes sense.

Ok, so many "looks" but no replies? Thanks guys.... :) Even if you don't have BR or PK, could you at least answer if any of you have gotten an email regarding Fluency downtime?....

I posted below. I got message from TSA KP that 40 min was to.much time SM - TT

Was told that it wil be looked into. That I should have been checking back every 5-10 minutes for work. I did so, and as stated below expected to be paid for doing so, as I was not making money waiting. It is maddening. I guess I will have to make up the time as I cannot afford not to be paid anything. They win.

Thanks for answering. I think that's a crock! 40 minutes is too much when it was down much longer than that and it is not our fault!? They always win it seems. THIEVES! I cannot wait to leave. Updated my resume and the wheels are turning.
God luck. I hope you make to shore. I am drowning for now. NM - TT

Thank you so much. I'm praying for a new job. It feels so good applying for jobs online and uploading my resume, very liberating! Very much ready to walk away, even from a home-based job. It's time for a change. M*Modal has ruined medical transcription for me...

I did fill out a Remedy ticket but I also know our scheduler person is leaving as of Monday and payroll ends Saturday so I am sure if we have not heard by now they are not paying. MT week or not. Mandatory OT or not.

Thank you, too, for answering! :) Again, they're theives. They make me sick. Cannot wait to leave and probably w/a notice! :)

Are you referring to my HDSM? Her initials are BR. TSA is PK.

I am with BR/PK - and did not get an e-mail; however,

I put it under "work availability" on my timesheet with the Master ticket # and that notation has now been changed to "MModal Technical Downtime" so I am assuming that means I will get downtime for the time off. Have you checked your timesheet?

Okay people, if you were in the middle of your shift, or you could not sign on for your shift, make sure you filed a Q-care ticket and notified your CCM.  Mine has been sending E-mails throughout the day stating that she KNOWS that DQS is still down even though it shows a green light.  By Medquists own Policy description for downtime for ME/MTs, this definitely qualifies.  Go to MQ Central Home page---Human Resources---policies.  At the bottom of the page there is a link call ...
