has already started this morning. Not for me though. I have decided that it is not in the best interest of #1 the patients mainly, #2 the clients, and very last and least of importance, #3 MM to expect contract demands to be met with this company's current guidelines in place AND be able to do a professional job on a legal document when it is highly likely that mistakes WILL be made when accounts are submitted to MTs in such a sporadic manner and expect perfection ALL the time. The few emails I have received this week were from PCs stating quality issues and that quite a few clients have complained about the increased lack of quality of reports, not about the TAT. Several clients have submitted long lists of reports that had increased critical errors and major errors. Well what else do you expect when we are having to someone else's accounts just to make our regular shift? What else do you expect when 1 client has a CP that's as long as the constitution and bill of rights put together and another client has maybe a 2 paragraph CP? What else do you expect when the MTs need to meet their lph, have to have very little inactive time, have to read the CP, learn the dictators, relearn their own dictators, research, etc. and so on and on and on?
I have started job hunting for something in my home town instead of working for MM. I'm too young to retire and too old to start all over with a new career. I just cannot do this anymore with MM. I have never been so disappointed and discouraged in how a company has been run as I am about MM over the last 5-10 years. In the beginning when I started working with Medquist it wasn't so bad, but now, UGH. The constant manager hopping, constant CEO hopping, constant lack of respect for the employees is degrading, constant account hopping and still expecting the same, it's just too much.
I'm physically sick today, headache and stomach cramps, and have been crying since I started working 2 hours ago over it all. I am emotionally burned out and exhausted.
If my HDSM, TSM, PC, QRS, TUV had answered the phone when I called this morning I would have quit on the spot, but as usual they won't answer.
