wondering why no news article - on nuance and accentus merger

Just like there was with the Transcend/Nuance merger? I find this quite interesting.

They told us in the phone call there would not be a public announcement, BUT they didn't say why. They had a huge announcement when they bought out Webmedx too. Some speculated that they didn't think it would go through, but I think unfortunately we are doomed and it will. They have plenty of high powered lawyers and bribe money to pretty much get whatever they want unfortunately. I talked to my brother-in-law, an attorney, who said they do not at this point meet the definition of monopoly (even though WE think so!) as there are other companies providing the same services.

that they are not 'yet' a monopoly, but they are obviously trying to 'become one.' Is there no law against that, as well?? It is quite obvious they are swallowing up as many companies as they possibly can before they are stopped, but they should not be able to even attempt it, in my mind anyway. Other companies have a right to 'compete' with them, and it seems the ones that are 'standing in their way' competitively are the very ones that are being bought out.. Many years ago AT&T was doing the same thing, and to keep themselves from the court room, they would say that these purchased companies were "branches" of their conglomerate, with differing names, etc. But it all still boiled down to the same thing, eventually, and AT&T was forced to stop. Could the same thing be being attempted with them now?? just a thought. I don't know the answer either. Wish I did. Just does not seem right somehow.

they made the news on CNBC business getting touted as top of the up-and-coming techno stocks and the stock was $21-something on Monday. Be sure to buy lots..... the stock is probably worth more than the job.

I opened a ticket yesterday for ASR, asking them to have H and H expand out to hemoglobin and hematocrit for my account, and less than 24 hours I got a message saying it was done! Unbelievable. Seems crazy we would all have to do this, but if we all do this, maybe some positive change could actually come. Most of the companies are paying 8 cpl for transcription and 4 cpl for editing. MQ is not going to stop until they reach that rate even though they may do it gradually as they have been doing. ...
