This has been going around for months and months. ExecuScribe is NOT owned by Medquist and never has been. There is absolutely no proof of this whatsoever.

That doesn't make it true. There is no proof whatsoever. Where's the press release? Why isn't it on their site with every other take over? Why is there absolutely no information anywhere other than here?

They did acquire Poiesis on 11/23, which is the same date they supposedly acquired ExecuScribe. (There was a post saying that the Q had "gobbled up two companies today.") That said, I couldn't find a PR on the ExecuScribe purchase.

Again, there is NO PROOF. They have press releases every time they take over a company. I actually CALLED EXI and asked if they were owned by the Q but they just hung up on me.

I'm not trying to be mean or annoying or anything but really...anyone at all can post here and say they work for so and so and it's true. But where is the proof?

I can't tell you how badly I want this proof! It could save my job.

I was working for Execuscribe and was on the conference call when the owner announced the buyout by MQ to everyone the week of Thanksgiving. I was offered employment with MQ but turned it down as I had already worked for them previously and knew better to go there again. My proof is that my last pay check came from MQ and not Execuscribe.

yes, I know other former Execuscribe people offered job with MQ to help with quiet transition. Think you made a wise choice, as perhaps many clients will as well. good luck!

A bunch of people saying they worked for Execuscribe and it was bought out isn't proof. All I need is the press release or an article or SOMETHING on their site, either of their sites. But no one has that.

I'm sorry for anyone who got swallowed by the squid, I really am, but I can save my job and another girl's job if this were true.

But no matter how many times I say "where's the proof" all I get are "My proof is that I was in on the call" or "My proof is that I got an MQ check" and that doesn't help me or my coworker at all.

I would go so far as to say I could rip a huge, HUGE account right out of their greedy little fingers if there were any actual proof that could be seen and shared.

I know they make money, but the garbage they are turning out is the poorest quality I have ever seen. I thought they hired an MLS to be on their staff, but obviously she is not or does not know anything about transcription. The owners certainly do not care as long as they get their money. Has anybody worked for Alltype (Jerry Kelly) in the past in NJ? Apparently they were bought out by Medquist or M*Modal in 2012.
