I don't know what your pay was before, but mine was about 40% more (and I now realize how lucky I was) with the company they "bought out." Nuance pays 8 cents straight type and 4 cents editing, and it's mostly editing. The platform stinks, its EditScript. This is just my opinion, but I am not productive on this platform at all.

QA is very picky and people who edit your reports which will count toward your "bonus" are, some of them, ESLs from India. Management has literally ignored several E-mails (and my coworkers can attest to the same). No communication, unprofessional. I am in dire straits now with my financial situation and seeking other employment.
I'm sorry to be the bearer of bad news.

I have been with Webmedx for over 7 years. Never have run out of work but I do almost every account. Nice people, nice benefits, etc. I don't know what will happen, if anything, with this "affiliation" though. Might want to try elsewhere until such time more is known.

Just wait, it will all come at once. We have been without email for about 4 days now, and when it does work it is sporadic, along with the "New and Improved" IM program. QA is a joke (FIESA). Haven't had any input from them in over a month. Don't know how this will work out with the incentive program (probably will have audits at the end of the quarter). This is really a joke. Nuance (India) is going to end up taking over the MT industry. Mark my word. They are the fox in the hen house.

This is not a delusion. I was actually told this by one of the Indian managers back in the day when our managers were in India. He said that it is their goal to be number one (or number only) in the US MT industry. He told me that they had to come to the USA for MT work because folks in India don't go to doctors that much. I'm not sure, even today, how much control facilities have over how the MTSOs get the work done and as to whether the jobs are shared with India or not. With all considered, in addition to their move toward automation, Nuance seems to be doing very well for themselves. Just my own opinion, based on my own observations.

WMX employees are notified we will find out pay adjustments to be made as we blend in with Nuance sometime in November. Sucks... Just at holiday time. Can you tell us, did they stick it to everyone down to the 8 and 4 cents per line? We have found out about insurance, but like every other company the insurance is high. We are just waiting to find out about pay. If they cut people make 9 or 10 cents per line down to 8 there are going to be some ticked off tooties. ...

Has anybody worked for Alltype (Jerry Kelly) in the past in NJ? Apparently they were bought out by Medquist or M*Modal in 2012.
