Does anyone work for this group of hospitals in Texas? They hire their own transcriptionists as employees. Sure would appreciate some feedback. Thanks.

I've been there a long time. We've been through a lot of changes but things are really going quite well. Way better than working for a service, at least the services I have worked for. Good benefits too.
I am looking for a resource where I could plug in the symptoms and perhaps come up with a diagnosis or name of a condition. There must be a site like this by now--a Dr. Google, if you will. Does anybody know of such a thing? ...
Does anyone know the person's name I need to contact at Transcend regarding my W2 form? I worked there a few months last year and I'm afraid I lost my email contacts because of my personal email being hacked. An email address for them would be nice if you can help! Thanks :) ...
I received a W2 from a company called Venture Resources Group, LLC, and I have no clue who they are! I worked for a bunch of companies in 2010 and I'm not sure which this is as it's not the direct name of any of them. Tried to contact an obscure phone number to no avail. Anyone have a clue about this place? ...
As I believe it is a company that handles the Payroll of a transcription company. I thought I had received all my W2s, then this one pops up. It was only for about 600 gross income. I am thinking it may be TTS, but not sure, as I worked a little bit for them, but I thought it was in 2009, not 2010. ...
Does anyone know of any great resources for the report types (and simlilar) listed in the subject line? I am starting with work that I am not familiar with and will likely need some good resources. I use, both, books and the web while working. I prefer using the web, but if books are needed I will do what is necessary.
Thank you! ...
I resigned from Nuance a couple of weeks ago and want to send an email to human resources but I cannot find the email address. Can someone please provide that to me? I never got an exit interview and I really want to do one! Thank you!

After you got out of MT classes and your subscriptions to your electronic resources expired, did you renew your subscription, use other resources instead, or do without? ...
Now that I'm laid off, I want to transfer my (piddly) 401k to my also piddly Roth IRA at my bank. I don't know much about doing this I hope I don't mess it up.
By the way, what are any of you guys doing with your 401k if you have one at MM? While I didn't have much in mine, I still want it. What if you didn't do anything? What would happen to the money? Anyone know about this kind of stuff? ...
I find many references to the McKenzie exercises for backs, but nothing specifically for "McKenzie brace." Any help would be appreciated. I have exhausted all resources. ...
What can you do about the morale of the employees? Instead of having MTs on their own time look at Enrich, why doesn't the company have monthly PAID meetings that cover topics or Q and A sessions, etc.? I have never had a meeting with my supervisor. You cannot tell me there is no money for that. Nuance spends so much money "improving" Fiesa and why not use that money for their employees? HR looks at everything that is posted on this site and what is done with the information fou ...
tell me how that works? I know the insurance premiums are less than a regular health plan. If your company puts 500 in your account, does that mean the first few times, for example, until you use up the 500, you don't pay ANYTHING or is it the opposite...you pay the entire office visit cost until you reach that 500? I would be so grateful for any information about this type of plan. TIA ...
but the email did not give a reason, just said that after HR review, I was deemed ineligible for rehire. Gave me the recruitment department if I felt the decision was in error, but when I called them, all they said was the decision came from HR. Said they had no info on email address or phone number. ...
FYI: The one-stop for Texas contact, David Smith, is very prompt in responding. He does indicate that Medquist has been requested to supply a list of names if and when any are laid off. While not specifically addressed, he gives the impression that we must be laid off before we can apply. ...
If you live in Texas (or maybe Louisiana) and own your own RV, consider being a gate guard at a natural gas field. The pay is about $15 an hour and that's 24 hours a day. And while you're sitting in that RV, guess what you can be doing. ...
I'm looking for some recent info on Transtech out of Texas. I've checked the archives and read a lot of mixed reviews. Is there anyone currently working for them or who has worked for them in the recent past who can give me some honest feedback on how they are to work for? Is running out of work a major issue there? Are you able to make a good living working for them? Do they for the most part leave you alone to do your work and treat their MTs well? I don't want to ...
There's a post buried below regarding overtime and a case lost by Keystrokes in Texas. A KS poster (probably the owner) states "It is a lie". It's not a lie. Here's the publicly accessible truth.
The link for the original charges is listed below this post. The Final Judgment 6/19/09 is below and states that all Keystrokes employees must be informed. These files are open to the public to view.

I am nervous and excited at the same time. It's been a long time since I was an employee, so it will be a change. I have a few friends who went there last year and are very happy, so I am sure it will be a good thing for all of us. The drawback is that I feel too old for change, and I know things will. ...
I was just looking at the Tarrant County College website. It is in Ft Worth. It said that medical coders in Texas are required to be certified. Anyone have more info on that?
I think it is a great idea. ...
Does anyone work for or know anything about Medscription Solutions in Texas? Saw an ad for a transcription job that pays $25 an hour; sounds too good to be true. ...
I learned yesterday that the TSU post baccaulaureate certificate requires only 15 hours. Wow. I can't stop thinking about it. I'm going to see if I can get accepted (yes I live in Texas). ...
Just wanted to know has anyone worked for this company. I have been "hired", but have not sent my paperwork to them as of yet. I am unsure about this company. Would love to hear from anyone who has worked for them, and give their input. Also, if anyone else knows of a good transcription company to work for, it would be appreciated. ...
