Need Recent Info on STel Corporate - Curious MT

Anyone work for, have worked for in the past, or have any recent info on STel Corporate? Have searched archives and found nothing recent.

This company posts an email address for Stentelco, which is not STel Corporate. That is an existing company out of Massachusetts I think, and they list their location in Iowa. Also it's unusual for a company, even a small one, to have a gmail address. I got curious and sent a reply to the ad and got an email today to set up a Yahoo Instant Messenger account for an interview. That's a big red flag for a scam.

That's interesting! I was going to apply also, but could find nothing about this company! Now I see they have removed the ad for the job. Have you heard anything else back from them except wanting you to create a Yahoo messenger account? Maybe it is a scam.

I sent a resume and got an interview over IM Yahoo today that lasted three hours and was very slow and more and more suspicious. In the end they wanted my account information, etc and wanted me to purchase all kinds of equipment. I declined. I think it is a scam.

PLEASE get the names of your companies correct before you post. The ad, posted on another board and subsequently removed, was for STEL Corporation and NOT STEN-TEL -- I do not have any association with Sten-Tel, but they are very much a legitimate company. Again, please get names correct before you post, because you could potentially get in trouble for posting wrong information.

Just received e-mail from corporate stating that as they had previously stated they would be rearranging management, ccm's, etc. It went on to state that if you had been reassigned to a new CCM they would be contacting you in the future, but Thank GOD at the bottom it lists who your CCM will be and I am lucky enough to have the same CCM who I love and has always been good to me. Today is my lucky day. So glad she is not one of the ones to go. ...

A prime example of that is when I work every holiday for time and 1/2, but low and behold, there is mysteriously no work in the system. Because they press a button and send it all overseas for some poor sap to do for 5 cents a day, instead of paying me time and 1/2. There is no appreciation for the MT and our expertise anymore. Used to at least get an Xmas card, not even that anymore.... :( Save Yourself! ...

Any of the eTransPlus MTs hear that John Jordan and Mary Ann Baker were downsized by the Evil Empire...MedQuist today? They called them without a warning and downsized.
