Question about corporate emails - just saying

What do the initials stand for again? HDS or SHDA? I am sure the S stands for Shaw in there somewhere. His dumb servants? Shaw's helpers destroying America? Why change it? They told us once but now just assume we know what it means. Also what happened to the North region? All this supposed improved communication and it is as if the North region just fell off the map and not even included in the company any more. Why don't the North employees get a chance at winning a monthly award?

and I don't care. These titles are recognized nowhere but MModal so I just don't see the point.

I think you should ask your TSM (or whatever they are called this week) what region you are in now.

SHDA = Senior Healthcare Documentation Analyst. We make no more than you, we have all accts, and the North is still here, we work hard, do a LOT of ASR just like the MTs or MMEs or whomever. Now in regard to Shaw, would not underestimate that individual. He has been around quite a number of years and I do not think he is stupid, dumb or whatever, he is a highly intelligent man and knows a thing or to about the transcription industry, but he works for the top just like we do, I only have worked under his guidance for many years and trust me, he knows exactly what goes on, he is just more professional than to let it bother him...I am just a working nut for this low money like all of you, but trust me I would not downgrade Shaw R. or degrade him for that matter. Never wag a finger until you truly know what is or who is. Okay go ahead and flame on, but I do not believe in talking down a company that I work for whether I like the $'s now or not.

North must be in one of the regions - but which one?

Just received e-mail from corporate stating that as they had previously stated they would be rearranging management, ccm's, etc. It went on to state that if you had been reassigned to a new CCM they would be contacting you in the future, but Thank GOD at the bottom it lists who your CCM will be and I am lucky enough to have the same CCM who I love and has always been good to me. Today is my lucky day. So glad she is not one of the ones to go. ...

A prime example of that is when I work every holiday for time and 1/2, but low and behold, there is mysteriously no work in the system. Because they press a button and send it all overseas for some poor sap to do for 5 cents a day, instead of paying me time and 1/2. There is no appreciation for the MT and our expertise anymore. Used to at least get an Xmas card, not even that anymore.... :( Save Yourself! ...
