I, too, was one of the "account specific victims" at SoftScript. I was fired for a QA score of 90%. This score was from 100% account specific errors (same error over and over in four different reports). Rather than counting one formatting or specific error, they dinged me over and over, making my QA score 90.4%.
My question is, when applying for future jobs, if they call SS for a reference, will they tell them that my QA score was that low? I have never in my 20 years of being an MT had a low QA score and I don't think that is any reflection whatsoever of my abilities as an MT. I would hate to have them tell that score to a possible future employer.
I was fired within my first 90 days of working there, so I think it would be fine to not even list them as an employer. Has anyone done this, or does anyone know if they will disclose the QA score?
