Just got call that moving me to new acct

I am tired and frustrated from applying and sending out resumes only to be ignored. It is like a game with them, I think. MedGarde even has an interview which has absolutely nothing to do with your skills or qualifications. In fact it seems like psychological testing to see if you are mentally competent or something like that. I swear I feel like a mouse that is being tested and run through a maze to see how well you perform, but even mice will get the prize or food event ...

I am considering requesting this pay which (depending on the state) considers us to be on-call and must be paid for part of our shift if no work. I have had it up to here with Nuance and running out of work, adding more and more accounts and STILL no work. Got a second job and STILL being screwed by Nuance in the sense that I cannot rely on my first job (income wise), because when there is enough work they manage to screw my cpl with their lovely FIESA, then as soon as I have no errors the work ...

I'm not very happy with my current company due to the loss of several benefits, cost of living pay, etc. and thought about checking out some larger companies, but after reading posts for a lot of major companies, I think I'll stay where I am. At least I have work 90% of the time and I'm paid 8 to 9 cents per line. The grass isn't always greener. :) ...

I was recently fired from my MT position because I moved to a different state. I was a full-time employee. I was never informed of such a policy and had actually moved to this state a few years ago when working with the same company. This was apparently a new policy they had come up several months ago. I, too, was one of the "account specific victims" at SoftScript. I was fired for a QA score of 90%. This score was from 100% account specific errors (same error over and over in four different reports). Rather than counting one formatting or specific error, they dinged me over and over, making my QA score 90.4%. My question is, when applying for future jobs, if they call SS for a reference, will they tell them that my QA score was that low? I have never in my 20 y ...

I am pleased to say I have found an open door to a job opportunity that is outside of MT work. It is a job that will utilize my experience in healthcare and my medical terminology. A very nice pay increase, regular holidays off with pay, and vacation and sick time. No weekend work. My old computer's hard drive is dying quickly. I need to move all my favorites/bookmarks from the old one to the new one. I've tried import and Export and it doesn't work. I tried copying the favorites to a CD-ROM but don't know how to get them onto the new computer. I've spent all morning searching for the answer and trying to move them over to no avail. Hello, I work for a local cardiology group and we use Nuance with Dragon (EXtext). I was wondering if there is a way to have the cursor move along automatically while I have the foot pedal down so I do not have to take my right hand off the keyboard to move the cursor with the right arrow button. We never have been trained on the cesspool that we get, we just get new accts when our regular work is caught up, so why do we need training on a new account? That is ridiculous. I'm on accts that do not allow any blanks at all through to the cliient. ALL blanks must go to QA. I haven't ever worked on an acct that would not even allow one blank to the client. Anyhow, might not would be so bad but the dictators are TERRIBLE! Many ESLs also. Combine no blanks allowed with terrible dictators = sending more to QA. That means docked pay if 5% or more.
