a shout out there for Keystrokes and see how the popularity pole is going. They rely on this board!

Keystrokes had 2 big accounts that were lost to Nuance and Nuance had TTS take on those accounts, hence Keystrokes had a lot of MTs without work. Yet, both are posting help wanted ads here, then now on the company board we have the question of who is better. Not sure if someone really is asking, seeing that if you scroll down, you will see a lot of pros and cons for yourself, so take your pick and maybe you will get lucky...until the honeymoon is over, if you even get started with KS.

If you follow the format, it states your nickname/Alias goes after the subject, which is how I interpreted the posting. NM, for no message would have gone into the Reply box. Therefore I interpreted it as the poster was NM and nm. Regardless, funny how nothing was put in the Reply box in either one. I smell a Keystroker.

It wouldnt go in the reply box - because

generally when you put NM in the nickname/alias box, you are telling people not to bother opening because there is NO MESSAGE inside.

know anything about Keystrokes, never worked there and wouldn't be interested since I don't do family owned companies; however, I didn't realize TTS was until it was too late. At any rate, you sound like an idiot. You obviously have no clue what you're talking about, grow-up!

what they are talking about when you make up your own rules. Guess it is understood in your short cuts that NM means don't click... Since when is it that one is an idiot and needs to grow up to understand one's own rules? I thought this board originally was meant for MTs who feel hopeless, helpless, and worthless, because of the unfair treatment, lies, deceit, secrets and unfair business practices going on with MTs and not for more degrading by friendly fire. Thanks for the explanation though, because not knowing a service does not make it better nor a good referral. KS has a long history of abuse to MTs...the list is long.

I work at KS but got a job offer from TTS and do not know if I should take it or not...I am sitting on the fence. I love KS but run out of work.

I decided to check out the posts on MTstars and once again I am disappointed with the drivel that appears on this site. If it isn't completely negative, it is just not worth reading. Come on folks, we are all adults. Lets post some information here that will be helpful to newcomers, and those of us needing a better situation, ideas on how to improve our situation, support, encouragement, not just drivel and beating each other up. We are all in this together and we can support each other......For those who are so disheartened about their situation in the medical transcription world, there are many more opportunities out there for folks with our skills, dedication, perseverance, etc. Let's share our ideas and help each other.....off my soap box now......Peace and happiness to all this holiday season.....Remember, we may not be able to change our situation but we can certainly chose our reaction to it. May the coming new year bring us all what is best for ourselves and our loved ones.

I have just been offered a job and accepted with TTS. I have been able to avoid VR for quite sometime, but will now be doing this. I have heard good and bad so not sure what to expect. Just curious to know pros and cons with TTS?Also curious what to expect with doing VR? 75% of my work will be VR, but mostly clinic account and only 15% of ESL's. Any thoughts and/or opinions or anyone who works there, what do you think?Thanks! ...

Not much in archives & I just started IC with them as a temp position until I find something better. The pay is not great but it is per 63 character line count and the acute account I'm on double spaces PE section so that helps. Platform is DocQscribe which has to be the easiest one I've ever used out of M*Modal/eScription..etc. The speech rec is not as precise as eScription but on the + positive side this IS the 1st company that doesn't QA NITPICK unnecessar ...

I am SO leaving this company. I was only in my first week and had two hateful and threatening interactions with their account coordinator and a QA. After browsing around in FIESA, I found what looks to be an instruction manual for the people who audit us and after looking at it, it sure does look like they can pick and choose which reports to audit, rather than randomly. I have also had the worst dictators audited more than the good ones. Of course it's easier to find a mistake that way and easier to keep our pay down! Remember 7 cpl is really equal to only 3.5 cpl if most of your jobs are VR. ...
