I just read a few posts below about someone "getting the shaft."  I too was a former Deventure employee and ended up at Transcend through the merge and worked for Deventure for 3 years.   I  have always been curious as to if any of the other former Deventure employees were "happy" with Transcend.  Obviously, my experience after the merge was not a pleasant one and according to at least one other post  'gettiing the shaft" - I am not the only one.  I was truly happy as a Deventure employee and always looked forward to getting up and doing my shift.  The TLs were very pleasant and we were like one "small happy family."  The first week of the merge I  noticed a difference in my work pooling, etc.  It just continuously went downhill from there.  I am now wondering if Transcend planned to can alll of the former Deventure employees after a period of time or force them to quit.  I hang in there or tried to until I got the "shaft." 

Why don't you spend your time brushing up on your - skills so you can find work. I think

it is pretty apparent by now that YOU are those "other posters" who just cannot and will not let it go. It's done, it's over - MOVE ON. Instead of spending your day and night here posting as multiple personalities, throw your efforts into finding work. There is obviously much more to your story than you've let on.

you. I know you have been very vocal about your experience, and some people may have gotten tired of it, but I appreciated everything you had to say. The post that responded to yours sounds like it could be from management, I really don't know.

As I stated previously, I was with Deventure and was very happy there but Transcend was a completely different story. It was horrible. TLs and ROMs changed every month. It was a constant state of confusion.

this poster's comments. We ALL still have the freedom of speech, correct? Then, as for moving on, I suggest you do that - right past her postings. I, for one, appreciate her input. Telling her what to do with her time is not your job so I would suggest you practice what you preach and just "move on" instead of reading and then bashing!

I posted this particular post to hear feedback from other Deventure employees who are still with Transcend and was interested in their comments, not to hear your nastiness, but I am not thinned skin and it actually makes me chuckle. What I do with my time is none of your business - so why don't you just move on and not read my posts - because apparently they hit a raw a nerve. When I post I try to have respect to the other person's opinions, as I only give my opinions back with some due respect, and as far as Transcend I have no respect for them. Have a GREAT DAY !!!!! :)

I notice a lot of people do not even use a nickname - they start with their subject and just continue on with the comment in the nickname slot. So with that said - why do you not use a nickname???? Maybe you are one of the guilty ones.

Oddly your fellow boat riders don't either. They also don't post - unless you do. Odd, huh?

There is a new post today from MDI/Transcend and it is not from me - and below there are posts started by someone which is not me - with "boat riders" chiming in. I will stay with my current nickname as it seems to rattle your cage and if "boat riders" chime in that is their choice, makes it more interesting !!!! You need to face the facts - there are many unhappy Transcenders - you need a reality check.

I can accept that Transcend has apparently done a lot of people wrong, but what I don't get is why some people can pick themselves up and brush themselves off and get on with life and other folks get stuck in the "They're doing it to me" chorus and give up even more of themselves and their lives by living in the past. I have a great saying given to me by a teacher: IF YOU DON'T LIKE IT, CHANGE IT; IF YOU CAN'T CHANGE IT, MOVE ON. (I moved on from Transcend, and believe me, it was the right choice for me.) I work at Transcend and hate it. Nothing she says is false. And if you see the name RLee and you don't like her posts, simply don't read them.

Can't you "let it go" that way?

RLee would not be on here as often as she is if she had work but thanks to Transcend, she doesn't. Speaking of on here day and night, if you're so gainfully employed, why are you on here monitoring her?

DTS / Transcend - DTS Employees Transitioning To The New Company

I went through the Transcend orientation yesterday for (former) DTS employees transitioning to the new company.  It left me very, very, very sad.  Transcend's methodology is so different from DTS.  The requirement of the $900 per pay period of full-time employees will be so difficult to achieve on this new BeyondText speech recognition as my pay will be cut based on what other MTs have told me!!!  (That and IF the work is available which in the past with DTS has been very off and on.)  ...

I need help and need to know how you all enter your time in TimeSaver.  I was told to only enter the time you are actually typing or editing and do not enter the time you are researching or reading work emails, etc., only when your "hands are on the keyboard".  So, this obviously won't equal to 8 hours a day just by entering this time, so how do they figure in that we are full-time employees this way?   If I only enter 5 or 6 hours a day instead of 8 then they can ...

Love reading all the posts on Transcend. For those of you that are happy there, good for you. You must be one of the ones that either "cheat/cherry pick" or your TL/ROM is your best buddy.  The region I work in is notorious for people cherry picking and when TL and ROM are told about this, nothing happens.. No wonder some people are happy. If I could pick and choose what jobs and what doctors  I wanted to do I'd probably be a lot happier too. It either forces you to "do the same" ...

I was just curious about what employees thought of Nuance on Glassdoor.  You read several US employee opinions and they reflect the morale listed on MTStars.  Scroll further down and read the opinions of the transcriptionists from India.  What a difference.  They are highly satisfied with their jobs and most have been working with Nuance for 6 to 7 years.  The US transcriptionists are very sad!!  What a difference..... ...

Someone jumps on this board, fires it all up by saying to use F11 for every ASR job, and then calls their CCM to say "read the MTstars board" and then they go check who is doing it and fires them, all the while the pot-stirrer looks all cutsie in the CCMs eyes and more work opens up for the pot-stirrer?Maybe it is my wild imagination, but it seems like all that "stop typing for a day" and if that does not work, then "stop typing for 2 days," and "use F11 for all ASR jobs," all feels so not ...

Third Shift Employees

As I am getting no work during the day shift anymore, I have the chance to go third shift Sun-Thursday (11-7), either that or find a new job (yeh right), or do ASR (done it at this company, no thanks to returning there).  I have never worked that one before.  How/when do you sleep?  Any other pros/cons about this shift?  Thaniks your your advice.    ...

Could someone explain exactly what a company can require of an SE? Can companies force MTs to adhere to a schedule if all MTs are statutory employees? All the research I have done on this subject is vague, but it appears that SE and IC are almost the same with the exception of Social Security and Medicare being withheld and the employer's portion being paid for an SE. ...
