I am quite depressed to tell you the truth. Just curious how many of you have stayed or moved on. I am thinking of moving on.

decent conditions and decent pay seem to be in rather short supply these days. Proscript is still definitely on a downhill slide, though, with it's horrible VR editing program and mismanagement. Both of my accounts consist of nearly all horrible ESL dictators or lazy mumblers. It has gotten to the point where there's hardly time to transcribe anymore since there's a new scolding e-mail sent out every few minutes, it seems. When I signed on to work my shift yesterday there were about a dozen of their stupid "updates" waiting for me, each more frantic and shaming than the one before it. I've had enough.

Yeah, I lasted about 2 weeks there, with the volumes of e-mails telling me to get on the system type, type, type, "run over there and let's get those jobs out." to "GET OFF THE SYSTEM NOW IF YOU ARE ON ORLANDO!!!!", Jeeze man, what are we bouncing us back and forth, and I knew after about 4 days this was a no go. There are 2 team leads there that are just HORRIBLE, and cannot manage, and have no people skills, AVB and DW. There is one nice manager there, I've worked at company she was previously with, she's really very nice, but those other 2 have her snowed into thinking they are good managers NOT! MTs leaving in droves! They are ALWAYS running out of work, and you CANNOT MAKE ANY MONEY AT $0.0350 CPL on a VR platform that does not learn, and I agree with previous poster, this VR is for the birds, we all should just REFUSE to work for companies that have it or their low pay. I have 2 jobs now, working for smaller outfits, that pay and there is plenty of work. Yes, it's IC, but at least I can buy toilet paper! Feed the dog, and buy coffee! Who would have ever thought that you would ever worry about the cost of such small items!

I have worked at Proscript since December of 2009. My team leader happens to be Deborah Watson!! Deborah has always been respectful to me and very helpful and very courteous. She always gives me feedback when I have questions or concerns.

Just because you were unhappy at Proscript does not mean everyone is unhappy at Proscript. Phyllis Tate, the transcription supervisor is extremely professional and nice and goes above and beyond to treat everyone with respect as well as all the team leads treat everyone with respect.

You don't like it don't work at Proscript. If you are going to use someone's initials have the courtesy to say who you are not hide under the name anonymous.

I love Proscript, I love the pay and I love the team leads and my MT teammates.

Have respect for others and respect will be given to you.

my accounts stink. The accounts I had for years are gone. What I do have are 95% terrible ESL. My mail box is littered with screaming emails telling me to get on and type. WTH? We are not even valued employees anymore (as we were years ago when they actually WANTED us to make money!) I don't care at all anymore. Every day I pray that this bunch running the company will get run out on a rail!

- even after many months or it supposedly being trained on, or learning, the different dictators it hasn't learned a blasted thing from what I can tell. It's still making the same errors it did on day one and the "draft document" it turns out has to be edited for nearly every other word. It takes far LONGER to edit one of these gems than it would to simply type the report from scratch.

So, at Proscript we're working harder for less money and now no benefits, plus we get nasty e-mails from them multiple times a day. It's certainly a complete turnaround from the way things were a year or two ago. If you complain, though, you might "disappear," as so many have over the past few months.

I just find it really sad and have accepted a job elsewhere. I will miss my accounts, but not the multiple nasty emails.

So, since we have gone to nearly all ASR, and have taken a pay cut of 40% basically, I think it's time that burden be shared by all employees equally. I think it's time we hear that ALL employees have received a decrease in pay over what they made say 5 years ago. WMX employees are notified we will find out pay adjustments to be made as we blend in with Nuance sometime in November. Sucks... Just at holiday time. They lost their 2 biggest accounts, so what do you do, you cut the employees' pay who were bringing in the income. Wondering if anyone has thoughts on this subject. My state does allow filing for UNDERemployment due to wage cuts. However, in the past when my employer was bought out and wages were cut, I did not realize this was an option. If it should happen in the future, does the employee just decline the offer of a job from the new company and then is fired and then file for under-employment or take the job and file for under-employment? I just checked my first paycheck with both weeks with the pay cuts plus the low work and being bounced all over to tertiary accounts I do not know well. Wow I am in shock. Wondering how others are faring I took about a 20% pay cut, and am single with children with prices rising, how in the world can we budget for this???
