Makes me wonder how much worse things are going to get..sm - Tired of Typin

Just when I thought things were at rock bottom, the bottom dropped out! Smart remarks from management about loss of account. What else is new?
I'll be leaving in a week for benefits and better pay elsewhere. - NM

I wasn't aware of any pay cuts, but I like their pay rates for VR, since most reports are VR these days. They pay MORE than most companies. Proscript pays 0.045 or 0.05 per line where Superior Global pays 0.038 and others pay only 0.01 a line for new MTs. I have had worse...Proscript has been an upgrade! LOL!
Are you on the M-Modal platform, or one of the others? - NM

(or are you management doing damage control?)

I started with Proscript in October last year, they changed platforms. In late November, I had to take a leave and returned in late February of this year.
I have been an MT for 20 years. The last 5, I have seen this industry tanking so I have bachelor degree in finance, taking my last 10 accounting courses so I can sit for my CPA exam.
Proscript is perfect!! I want to make $50-75 a day and I can do that in 3-4 hours depending on my mood, so it's perfect for a full time student.
Not a newbie...this job just serves a perfect purpose. Its flexbility allows me to come and go and it's low stress. Many companies want you in a chair in front of your PC playing Solitaire waiting for work. If you leave your post, they will fire if you miss picking up a job. That's not what I want. That would never work for me. :)
Meant you were new to the company which you are..nm - nm

Since I have worked with them about 3-4 months total...ok...I suppose I am a newbie, just doesn't feel like it! LOL
All well and good for you, but we were employees with benefits. Lost those SM - SM

and lost our incentive rates too. Good management left, too.

When I started and still today, it's IC status...no insurance...nothing like that. The Romanian lady was a sweetheart. I like the current boss I have too though. She leaves me alone, gives me work. No problems. But...I don't have a comparison really. Nothing has changed for me in the few months I have been there, except the platform and birth of VR.
I can understand your situation. That's how I felt when Focus was eaten up by Nuance - changes, bad management, disorganization, backbiting bosses, 1/2 stupid QA (they kept Indians in India and brought in new bimbos from US to do QA - OMG - nightmarish!). It's sad when things change drastically and for the worst.
Not management...LOL - jm0405

I type nights and I have Proscribe - that thing where you do ctrl-H for headings if that rings a bell.
No! I am not management! No damage control. I simply like Proscript because they always have work available, no running out. Their pay scale is commensurate with the others. Payday is direct deposit, on time. I have simply had a bad 6 months with running into companies that don't pay, others overstaff, no work. If you read my other posts, I worked and I am not geting paid. Comparatively, Proscript has been consistent, honest, payday is always here.

I am making MORE than this editing VR reports. I left Proscript because of the new management climate which was just as snarly as they get, and I was used to a wonderful management team prior. I also left because they eliminated all benefit status for MTs, giving us only 30 days notice. The pervading company "culture", if you will, is one of "we keep our distance from you MTs, and there are lots more where we found you." If you can afford to work like a freelancer, and you don't know a good company from a mediocre one, then Proscript is for you.
Thinking of applying at Proscript. Can anyone tell me the pay, benefits, QA, etc? Also, I am planning on working night shift, so do they run out of work often at night or is the work plentiful and is there a night shift diff? TIA. ...
I recently went to work with Proscript after 9 years of hell at Spheris and 1 year of the same thing with Medquist and I love it. I have a great hospital, great supervisor and flexilbility. I do work evenings though and that is my choice. The system is pretty decent. I can see a few things I would like to change, but for the most part, it's not bad. Money, (are we getting paid for this?), seems about the same, but I am still learning the account, so I don't feel I am up to sp ...
If so, where, I run out of work continuously. I'm not bashing anyone, just dont think I should keep all my eggs in one basket and would like to see what others have done.
Thanks. ...
This is for anyone thinking of going to work for Proscript (I understand that they are advertising): This is NOT the Proscript that was a great, great company to work for some years ago. That crew was the old ddi crew and they brought the ddi corporate culture with them: Fair to clients, fair to employees, and they valued their employees equally with their clients. They would attempt to work with an MT to see how to get any problems resolved. &n ...
Does anyone work for Proscript? I read where they were hiring, but I also heard they have no work, once you start working for them. Just wondering if I should waste my time with another disappointing company, that offers so much and delivers so little and we are hung out to dry. ...
Does anyone know if Proscript Documentation is the same company as Proscript? I once worked for Proscript and I just applied at Proscript Documentation and took their test and realized it was the same account I worked on with the other PS. Are they related? I know Proscript does overflow work and I am wondering if they are a subsidiary of PS Documentation. ...
Hi there! I just recently was hired with ProScript and am going to be starting this coming week. I didn't ask about how time off works there, so I am wondering if anybody that works for ProScript can help me out with information on how it works? I know that since you are a "statutory employee" they don't give you a set set schedule but I was just wondering like if you were going on a vacation or something are they generally willing to give you a week off or something like that? Really ...
I just started, but the date I got was today for payday, yet it is not in my bank. They told me I do not have to wait for direct deposit, that it is right off the bat (rather than waiting the usual two checks or so with any other place). Just wondering if I should make a stink if it really is payday since nothing was deposited. I wonder if it is because yesterday was a holiday. ...
Anyone out there work for Proscript out of Clearwater? I used to work there years' ago and it was a good place to work. I think they have had a restructure some time ago, but never see anything about them on the board. Any info would be appreciated. ...
