Can someone update me on Focus/Nuance insurance - IdahoMT

They used to have decent and affordable medical insurance but I thought I heard in January the cost went up substantially. Is this true? and if so, does anyone know how much it is now for individual and family?

It went up in January for family coverage from right at $450 per month to over $1000 per month. So I had to drop it. It was Blue Cross Blue Shield but they went with Aetna instead who is outrageous. Makes no sense.
I'm ready to get out of this field all together.

I don't expect any place to have cheap insurance. I've worked in the insurance industry and I know it goes up every year but that is ridiculous. You would strictly be working for insurance, maybe have a few hundred dollars left over to live on. Forget that.

Just recently left Focus.. the only thing they are good at is low pay, no work, high deductibles on ins., well.. you get the picture. They jerked me around for months and I got behind severely on many of my bills.. they promise the moon and stars, but you have to work almost 3 times as hard to make a decent paycheck. Go elsewhere to find a better MT job and they DO send work offshore,.. yes they do.. and recently bought out OSI.. a company that paid very well, had good insurance, and when they got to Focus, Focus gave them crappy 1500 deductible health, and they went from a nice salary to Focus' 4 cpl.... wow... how decent was that?

On our new insurance plan for employee only, I am getting major medical, dental, cancer, critical illness, accidental for about the same I was paying or a little less than before for major medical, dental and vision. Okay we HAD to change our insurance when Nuance bought us out...and it was horribly expensive with a $2500 deductible. They changed us in January, and I have just met that deductible. Please correct me if I am wrong, but from what I have heard this insurance plan (BC/BS?) does not cover primary care office visits until you reach a 2500 dollar deductible, no copay anymore, paying for the whole visit?? I thought all insurance companies had us pay a copay, not the whole cost of the office visit.
