My company is being bought out by Keystrokes. Do any of you currently work for Keystrokes? If so, what do you think about the company? Should I be worried?

This board has been notoriously negative about most of the bigger companies. Lately, the targets have been KeyStrokes and Webmedix. I have been there 4 years and am glad I made the switch from MQ. Good luck in your new position!

That's right! Keystrokes and Webmedix were designated during the super-secret meeting that was held in ubercyberspace. Only those who knew the secret electronic handshake and used a proxy server were allowed to attend.

Do you see how ridiculous you sound? There are VALID COMPLAINTS about working for Keystrokes.

Just offered a position this morning - old school MT

I just received an offer letter from Keystrokes this morning. I don't know a lot about the company. Some MTs seem very happy there and some seem to have had problems, so I am not sure what to expect. I know when I ran a search for the top 10 MT companies to work for, Keystrokes was included in that list and the offer they have made me is reasonable. They did tell me they require so many reports per week...not lines...but yet they pay by the line according to my offer letter, so this is somewhat confusing to me. I don't think I will have a problem with the quota, but as we all know some reports are 1 page and some are 10, so it will be interesting to see how this quota system will work. It is also my understanding that the account I am being placed on is straight transcription with no ESL dictators and I will verify that before I sign the offer letter. It sounds like a good company, but one never knows until you work for someone and I find our experiences with different companies vary as much as the different individuals we are. I will keep you posted on my experience with the company and any feedback from anyone who works there would be appreciated.

Has anybody worked for Alltype (Jerry Kelly) in the past in NJ? Apparently they were bought out by Medquist or M*Modal in 2012.
