The brick and mortar school was much more expensive and did not teach inpatient coding. My facility won't even hire from them.
It's okay to say that coding isn't for you. It's perfectly understandable if you don't like coding or you were of an age that you didn't want to make a switch, or you had issues with money, or any of a number of other reasons. What isn't okay is to make claims about coding that are simply false. Sure, people from other programs might be able to do equally as well, if they are able to pass both the CPC and CCS. Many don't teach to that level.
By the way, this isn't Peggy, this is a former student and someone who is employed as a coder.
