I was a transcriptionist from 2005 to 2019. I took Linda Andrews' coding program and obtained my CCS credential in April 2019. I got my first coding job 2 months later. You can land a job if you are diligent about searching. While I do miss transcription, I am much happier with better pay and job stability.
