Peggy,maybe this person didn’t have the funds to take both exams after already sinking hundreds of dollars into a course and the other expenses involved. It sounds as if she needed to fast track her program and get into the workplace quickly. Not everyone who codes for a living loves it, and meeting metrics is an issue for a lot of people. Something else that wasn't mentioned is that there are expenses involved in maintaining a CPC or CCS in terms of membership fees and continuing education credits. I can't speak to the Career Step curriculum, but I know that students are permitted to work at their own pace. With up to a year to finish if they choose. You sound arrogant and out of touch with what is happening in the real world.
