They expect their ICs to provide at least 14 days notice if you plan to take time off. Pretty sure requiring such a thing from a contractor is a blatant violation of IC laws:

"Contractor shall provide 14 days advance notice to Pearson of planned absences, e.g. vacations, scheduled medical procedures, etc."

And, they also require:

"A hotspot on my cell phone so I have connection to the internet as a backup option. Power charger to keep my computer charged in the event of a power outage so I can complete and return assigned transcription jobs."

They even expect you to work during a freakin' power outage using your cell phone data for a hotspot! Are they going to pay the cell phone bills for the people who don't have an unlimited data plan?!
