Sure, not having to deal with nitpicky QA is great, but what good is that if there's hardly any work available? I have bills to pay. If a company is not providing me with nearly enough work to make a decent paycheck, I'm not going to stick around. I have a mortgage, a car payment, utility bills, grocery bills, etc. A company can have great managers, lenient QA, and they can be the nicest people in the world, but nice doesn't pay the bills.
