It would force them to raise the rates.I'm a few years from retirement and trying to stick it out. I've been applying for jobs outside of transcription and don't get called for interviews are am immediately rejected with a canned e-mail response. It saddens me to think not even 10 years ago we were all making decent wages, working 40 hours a week with benefits. Now I work 60+ hours a week over 7 days to make less money than then and with no benefits. I love what I do but not how our industry has gone to greedy wolves.
