I agree with the above poster. I work for three companies all IC, all ST and NO affiliation with Nuance or VDI. I work three jobs also because I am my sole support. While workload can vary at times, it has been plentiful enough to pay my bills. I also learned LONG ago not to put all my eggs in one basket.
