Alpha and VBC - another MT

Please forgive me for intruding. I don't work for Alpha, but it's a public thread and I'm interested in what's going on.

What does VBC stand for? I've been following these threads for a bit and I must admit I'm not sure I've ever seen HR personnel "battle" with an MT (or MTs) in an open forum like this.
