The company is legal. Sadly like you said, the owner places a lot of trust in SN who is undermining the success of the company. QA will outright lie about errors, etc. I think QA is threatened by good transcriptionists and makes sure they are fired or never hired. It seems like they think they are ensuring their job security. SN is a screamer and extremely unprofessional.
