There are many more cost effective and efficient ways of eliminating MTs and trying to get clients to use Dragon. There is no way they would have given a $1k bonus to anybody unless it was absolutely necessary. It is also very dangerous to disrupt clients that much. They never would have allowed work to go to MModal or other competitors either, just to create an emergency situation and try to get clients to switch to Dragon. Not all clients left but certainly enough did without switching to Dragon to where the losses in revenue will be significant. If they had "created" the emergency they also would have finessed it better to where we would not have been paid AHR while not working.
