Just a note PF lines - MTMT

They are also not understanding that you're not allowed to type what is dictated in complete sentences. Ex: Dictated: The patient is a well-developed, well-nourished female who says she was struck by a car. This can only be transcribed as: Well-developed, well-nourished, says struck by car. Forget about the words, time it takes to listen to them and not transcribe them, and macros you may have for these: The, patient, is, a (twice), female, who, and the entire chart is this way repeatedly. Absolutely the worst charts ever seen with all the half thoughts and sentences. It is scary to think about how well a non-PF provider would understand some of them because of this and their abbreviations. It is also quite a challenge to sit and think about what you should cut out of a complete sentence so it meets someone definition of cutting out excessive verbiage (and said definition will change depending on the QA personnel), which takes time and diminishes the line count.

Whether you're being ripped off by editing software or by a company that insists on paying production but will not allow the production of what you're required to listen to does not make that any easier to tolerate.
