OT - anon

Yes, they pretty much just say you must produce 1700 lines from now until we say, usually when the work is within 2 days of being caught up. And don't even think about asking for PTO during any of this time.

This year, we were on mandatory OT from Jan 3 until March 31st - 3 months straight of 1700 lines per day, without any incentive, bonus, OT, or anything. There were not really any updates along the way as to how long it would last either, just upped your line count indefinitely.

We may have gotten a simple thank you at the end or great job or something, but certainly not any OT pay (other than straight pay for the extra lines), special trinket, gift card, nada. Their mismanagement, lack of foresight for hiring, and LOTS of people quitting (go figure) created the mess, but we were not given anything extra to fix it.

I thought we were about to go on mandatory OT again this summer, but ended up not having to so far. This is the first summer since I have been there we didn't have to do that. Also, if a holiday falls during the mandatory OT, they make you type the OT line count.
